BMU hosted a one‑day workshop on “Happiness & Cognitive Clarity through Meditation” under the joint aegis of the Center for Counseling & Mental Well‑Being and IQAC.

🎤 Keynote Speaker: Dr. Aparna Batra, renowned counselor from Art of Living and retired professor, emphasized that meditation is not just an option but a necessity for mental clarity and emotional stability in today’s fast‑paced life. She demonstrated simple techniques to enhance cognitive ability, enabling students to make accurate decisions even in challenging situations.
The Registrar emphasized holistic education and the role of mentally strong students in nation‑building. Students and faculty experienced inner peace, positive energy, and pledged to embrace a stress‑free life.

Remembering the martyrs of Jallianwala Bagh Massacre of 13 April 1919. The day, April 13, 1919 is recorded with a tragic incident in the history of our country.

The Massacre took place in a garden named Jallianwala Bagh near the Historic Golden Temple in the Amritsar district of Punjab. This massacre is a dark chapter in the history of the Indian Independence struggle. Jallianwala Bagh was declared a national monument by passing an act “Jallianwala Bagh National Memorial Act,1951.

On April 13, 1919, innocent lives were lost, but their sacrifice lit the flame of India’s freedom struggle. Let today’s youth carry forward their spirit of courage and unity.
