Slogan and poster making competition was organized on the occasion of International Day for Protection of Ozone Layer under the aegis of Science Faculty under the chairmanship of Principal Dr. Anil Kumar Taneja. Appreciating the efforts made by the students in this competition, Dr. Anil Kumar Taneja said that ozone layer is very important in our life and motivated them to make themselves aware for the protection of ozone layer by making them aware of the facts helpful in its protection. The role of the jury was played by Dr. Rashmi Chhabra, Dr. Shikha Phogat and Dr. Meenakshi Gugnani. The students depicted the symptoms of ozone layer depletion and the measures for its protection very well through slogans and posters. The competition result was as follows, Rajni (B.Sc. Non Medical 2nd Year) got the first prize in slogan writing, Vanshika got the second prize and Shanvi and Anu (B.Sc. 1st Year) got the third prize. B.Sc. students got the third prize in poster making competition. Ashish from second year got first place, Deepanshi got second place and third place was secured by Himanshi and Himanshu from B.Sc. first year. Principal Dr. Anil Kumar Taneja honoured all the winners by giving them certificates. On this occasion, staff members of Science Faculty, Dr. Manish Kumar, Dr. Savita, Mrs. Ritu, Dr. Manisha, Kumari Swati, Kumari Jyoti, Mr. Sanjeev and Mr. Vikram were present.

An extension lecture and survey was organized by the Youth Red Cross unit under the chairmanship of Principal Dr Anil Kumar Taneja. The topic of today's lecture was de-addiction. The keynote speaker of this lecture was Dr Narendra Bhukal (Health Counselor, Department of Community Medicine, PGIMS Rohtak). While telling all the volunteers about drug addiction, Dr Narendra said that drug addiction is a serious social evil, which weakens a person socially, physically and mentally, as a result of which his efficiency and will to live decreases. It is very important for our society that today's youth should be aware so that they do not have to face this dreadful situation. In the lecture, the speaker administered an oath to all the youth on de-addiction. After that, a survey was conducted on de-addiction of ten selected volunteers, the main objective of which was to assess and know the seriousness of the problem of drug use. On this occasion, Youth Red Cross Coordinator Dr Shalu introduced the keynote speaker to the volunteers and inspired them to make the society aware on this subject. In the end, Youth Red Cross Counselor Dr. Rajesh Gehlawat expressed his gratitude by giving a letter of appreciation to the keynote speaker. On this occasion, volunteers like Rahul, Sneha, Palak, Jatin etc. were present.

Today, a culinary competition (Tasty Treat) was organized by the Department of Home Science under the chairmanship of Principal Dr. Anil Kumar Taneja in Shri Lal Nath Hindu Mahavidyalaya. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Anil Kumar Taneja said that food prepared with positive energy provides us energy. Pure and satvik food provides peace to both our mind and body. Program coordinator and head of the department Dr. Mamta Sehgal said that food should be tasty along with being healthy, pure and vegetarian food is beneficial for our body. All the students of the college participated enthusiastically in this competition. All the participants impressed everyone with their culinary skills as well as hospitality.
The result of the competition was as follows: 1st place- Daulat (BA 1st year, 241182) for making Litti Chauka, 2nd place- Sonia (BA 1st year, 2411029) for making Dahi Bhalla, 3rd place- Anjali (BA 1st year) for making Aloo Puri and consolation prizes were received by Tanya (BA 1st year) for making Aloo Kachori and Sonia (BA 1st year) for making Semolina Halwa. The role of the jury was played by Dr. Rashmi Chhabra, Dr. Meenakshi, Dr. Anju Deshwal and Dr. Shikha. At the end of the program, Principal Dr. Anil Kumar Taneja congratulated the winning participants and said that our college keeps organizing such competitions on various occasions which help in the all-round development of students. On this occasion, the application form and all the students were present.

Today, the Hindi Department of Shri Lalnath Hindu Mahavidyalaya organized a competition of singing couplets, poems, bhajans and songs of Bhakti Kalin poets on the occasion of Hindi Diwas under the chairmanship of Principal Dr. Anil Kumar Taneja. On this occasion, Dr. Anil Kumar Taneja said that Hindi is not only our mother tongue but also the carrier of our feelings, thoughts, human values ββand culture. Program coordinator and head of the department Dr. Anju Deshwal, while shedding light on the subject of the competition, said that Bhakti Kalin literature holds special importance in Hindi literature, hence it has the status of golden period. While beginning the program and conducting the stage, Dr. Geeta said that students from various faculties of the college participated in this competition. All the participants presented their poems with such sweetness that all the spectators present in the auditorium became immersed in devotion. The result of the competition was as follows: First Place - Vishal (BA 2nd Year, 13026), Second Place - Heman (BA 2nd Year, 13011) and Mandeep (BA 1st Year, 2411015), Third Place - Vishwajeet (MA Final Year, 15127) and Manoj (BA 2nd Year, 13232) and Consolation Prize was bagged by Chirag (BA 2nd Year, 13132) and Himanshu (BA 1st Year, 2411050). Dr. Rajni Kumari and Dr. Richa Bhatnagar played the role of judges. Dr. Seema Rani expressed her gratitude. At the end of the program, Principal Dr. Anil Kumar Taneja congratulated all the winning participants and said that such competitions not only develop the intellectual, mental and social development of the students but also enhance their reading skills. Finally, he said that our college keeps organizing such competitions on various occasions for the all-round development of the students. On this occasion, Dr. Rashmi Chhabra, Dr. Sumit Kumari Dahiya, Dr. Harsh*ta Chikara, Mrs. Kiran, Dr. Savita, Miss Jyoti, Miss Manisha and all the students were present.

13 September 2024, An extension lecture and quiz competition was organized on the occasion of World Su***de Prevention Day under the joint aegis of Student Counseling Cell and Civil Hospital in the premises of Shri Lal Nath Hindu College under the chairmanship of Principal Dr. Anil Kumar Taneja. On this occasion, Dr. Vipin Nain, a psychiatrist from Civil Hospital, made the students aware of the ill effects of su***de and its prevention measures. Dr. Chirag and Dr. Himanshu said that unless people talk about it, success cannot be achieved in preventing it. They shared important information related to National Su***de Prevention Lifeline No. (1800-121-3667) helpline number and telemental health services. Principal Dr. Anil Taneja said that this is a global awareness campaign aimed at raising awareness about preventing su***de and providing support and assistance to those who are suffering from mental stress.

12 sept 2024, 45 days Python certificate course was started under the aegis of Computer Science Department in Shri Lalnath Hindu Mahavidyalaya campus. Which was presided over by Principal Dr. Anil Kumar Taneja. Principal told the students the importance of Python and said that how software can be made with the help of Python with continuous practice. Dr. Pooja Chawla, H.O.D of Computer Science Department also made all the students aware of the objectives of Python. The resource person of this course, Mr. Mukesh Juneja, told the students about the history of Python and told for which purposes Python is used. 32 students participated in this course. On the first day of this course, Dr. Pooja Chawla, Dr. Reena Katyal, Mrs. Madhu Vij, Mrs. Kirti Dhingra, Mrs. Preeti Yadav, Mrs. Preeti Bhardwaj and Miss Ankita were present.

11 September 2024 'Mathematical Rangoli Competition' was organized under the aegis of the Department of Mathematics at Shri Lal Nath Hindu Mahavidyalaya. While presiding over this competition, Principal Dr. Anil Kumar Taneja Ji guided the students and said that in mathematics, rangoli patterns are a creative way to explore symmetry, reflection. Dr. Meenakshi Gugnani, Head and Coordinator of Mathematics Department, told that mathematics is not just about formulas and logic; instead it can be used to express beauty and shapes through patterns, symmetry and arrangement. Mrs. Priyanka Sahni and Mrs. Santosh, who were conducting the stage, informed that in the competition, Mishti (B.Com 1st year) and Nandini (BBA 3rd year) got the first prize, Tanya (B.Com Honors 2nd year) and Tanya (B.Com Honors 2nd year) got the second prize, Muskan (BA 3rd year) and Gungun (BBA 3rd year) got the third prize and Raghav (BBA 2nd year), Kanishka (BBA 1st year) and Kavya (BBA 1st year) got the consolation prize.
