आज दिनांक 31 मई 2022 विश्व तंबाकू निषेध दिवस के उपलक्ष में पंडित नेकी राम शर्मा राजकीय महाविद्यालय के गणित विभाग द्वारा गुणवत्ता आश्वासन प्रकोष्ठ के तत्वाधान में एक शपथ ग्रहण समारोह का आयोजन किया गया जिसमें बच्चों ने तंबाकू से बने पदार्थों के सेवन न करने की शपथ ली तथा इसके हानिकारक प्रभावों के बारे में अपने आसपास के लोगों को जागरूक करने का भी संकल्प लिया। इस अवसर पर वरिष्ठ प्राध्यापक डॉ श्रीमती इंदू सपड़ा, डॉ श्री शमशेर हुड्डा डॉ श्री राजेश दहिया डॉक्टर सुनील दुआ डॉ अमित सहगल एवं गणित विभाग के अन्य प्राध्यापक मौजूद रहे।
डॉ श्रीमती इंदू सपड़ा ने बच्चों को तंबाकू के दुष्प्रभावों से अवगत कराया एवं इसके बारे में जागरूकता फैलाने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया।

State level science postgraduate quiz was organized on 28/04/2022 in Pandit Nekiram Sharma Government College by Mathematics Department. This competition is organized every year under the aegis of Haryana State Council for Science, Innovation and Technology. Monika Gupta, Administrator, HSVP Rohtak was the chief guest in this program. Scientist Bhup Singh, Rajbir Singh and Quiz Master Dr. Surendra Yadav made commendable contributions on this occasion.In this competition, first prize was awarded to Government College Hisar, second prize to MNS Government College, Bhiwani and third prize to MLN Government College, Yamuna Nagar with one lakh, eighty thousand and sixty thousand respectively. In the end, college principal Major Dinesh Saharan encouraged the students to work hard to move ahead in life and congratulated the winners.

A District Level Science Quiz held in Auditorium of Pt. NRS Govt. College, Rohtak to escalate the educational activities. Principal & faculty attended the event along with students to encourage the participants. And it is a matter of great pleasure that our own college team got the first prize at District Level out of 18 teams that participated today.
In the end, the Principal appreciated all students for their enthusiasm & active participation and advised them to keep the spirit up.

After the second wave of Corona epidemic, the session 2021-22 started at Pt. NRS Govt College, Rohtak. On this occasion an orientation program was organized in the Mathematics Department of Pt. NRS Govt College, Rohtak for new students who have taken admission. In which the new students were informed about the culture of the college and facilitate a smooth transition in the new phase of life. Students reported in the college campus with shining faces feeling enthusiastic about the new phase of life.
