Beyond the Books: Sparking Creativity and Joy at Aditya Birla Vani Bharati’s Summer Camp
(Held on 2nd, 3rd & 4th June)For Class 3 & 4
The spirit of the Summer Camp at Aditya Birla Vani Bharati continues to soar high,instilling immense vigor and excitement among young learners. Designed to offer an "out-of-the-box" experience away from regular books,the camp successfully blended joy with meaningful,holistic education, helping students step out of their comfort zones to learn new skills and build lasting friendships.
This marked a spectacular day of learning and joy for 95 vibrant students of Classes 3 and 4.The morning commenced on a serene note with a multilingual assembly featuring soulful prayers in English,Hindi,and Bengali,followed by a calming meditation session.The peaceful atmosphere quickly transformed into an energetic arena with a high-octane Zumba session.Back in the classroom,students sharpened their analytical skills through fast-paced Mental Maths puzzles and speed drills.
The undisputed highlight,however,was the introduction of French.The lesson focused on foundational greetings like "Bonjour" and "Merci". By the end of the day,the campus was buzzing as children proudly tested their newfound French phrases on peers and teachers.
The enthusiasm carried over into the following days.Students showcased their expressive poetry recitation skills before diving into acting method.Different expressions and emotions along with dialogue delivery and stage acting were also enjoyed by them.Expert teachers led an engaging dance training workshop that peaked with another thrilling Zumba session,Turning their focus to hands-on artistry,the students later used colorful paper and glue to craft and beautiful vegetable paintings.
The grand finale of the Summer Camp was marked by intellectual thrill and celebration.Students enthusiastically participated in a stimulating quiz,an interactive French questionnaire,and Dance with Recitation performances.
Following the events,the memorable summer camp concluded on a high note with a Certificate distribution ceremony and refreshments for all the students,leaving behind cherished memories of a truly enriching journey.
