Omkarananda Institute of Management & Technology (OIMT), Rishikesh takes pride of being pioneer in the field of professional and technical education in the state of Uttarakhand. OIMT was founded in the year 1999 with the kind permission of HD Paramahamsa Swami Omkarananda Saraswati Ji Maharaj. OIMT started with MBA, BBA and BCA courses, striving upon providing value based quality education to the
students of Uttarakhand and other states of the country since its inception. OIMT being one of the oldest institutions of professional and higher education in the state, presently runs MBA, BBA, B.Com., MSc (Computer Science), BSc (IT), BCA, Bachelor in Library and Information Science – M.Lib. & B.Lib., and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.). All courses at OIMT are duly approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) or National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) New Delhi, as applicable, and affiliated to Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun, Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University and HNB Garhwal University Srinagar (Garhwal). The Institute is dedicated to maintaining highest standards of academic excellence in order to provide value based, employment oriented professional education. OIMT situated at hill lock, has a beautiful campus sprawling over more than seven acres of land surrounded with lush green forests.
