One of our greatest inspirations, Phil Lesh, avant-garde composer and bassist for The Grateful Dead, has passed away at 84. I was just listening yesterday while practicing Yoga to the London Lyceum 1972 shows, with The Other One. My Muslim landlord here in Sri Lanka had come to water the garden and couldn't stop listening. He really heard it, and understood. We spoke of Phil Lesh and how he always said there was cosmic music eternally present in higher realms, and the job of a musician is to manifest that here on this mortal plane. Thanks so much for opening the Door for me, Phil.
