The Vidyalaya was upgraded in 1987-88 upto class XI with Science stream. First batch of class XII passed out in 1988-89. Commerce stream started in this Vidyalaya in 2004-05. Second section of Science started in year 2006-07. The Vidyalaya was shifted from old building provided by TRS College Rewa to its new Building in the year 2000-01 having a well developed campus with all facilities. It is lo

cated in the eastern Madhya Pradesh 50 km from the Satna railway station in the N.H-7 and 125 km from Allahabad . Presently it has classes from I to XII with SCIENCE and COMMERCE stream at +2 level. With strength of about 1730 .The Vidyalaya is headed by Principal Shri dubey ji Vidyalaya has 36 Class Rooms, 3 Science Labs, 3 Computer Labs, 1 Library and well-developed campus. Sports facility for volleyball, Cricket, Basket Ball, Football, Khokho etc. is available in Vidyalaya capus........

Aligned with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP 2020), Promotion of Research Attitude in Young And Aspiring Students (PRAYAAS), 2024тАУ25. PRAYAAS 2024-25 is a groundbreaking initiative by the Department of Education in Science and Mathematics (DESM), , to promote scientific inquiry, creativity and problem-solving skills in young learners from grades 9 to 11.

This program equips students to use the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) approach to address real-world problems through cooperative research projects with educational institutions and schools.

The selected participants will be given mentorship, catalytic grants and opportunities to showcase their creative solutions on national platforms.

The Department of School Education and Literacy is dedicated to cultivating a generation of intellectuals, creators and innovators by emphasising experiential learning, integrating all learning domains and engaging students in innovative scientific concepts for holistic development.
