The Institution Innovation Council (IIC)of the College has conducted IP Week Lecture Session from April 21, 2025 to April 26, 2025 under the IP UTSAV on the off line mode.This specified activity themed as Intellectual Property Rights organised under the aegis of MIC (Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell) and convened by IIC of the College under the leadership of the College Principal Dr. Mrs. Anu Kapil and the guidance of Asstt.Prof Vandana as convener, Asstt Prof. Amanjot Kaur coordinator and Asstt.Prof.Gagandeep Kaur start up coordinator of IIC.These sessions were conducted by MIC and AICTE and live streamed on the MIC channel. More than 40 students of Department of Commerce were the off line beneficiaries of the talks show. On the first day of the event inaugural ceremony of IP UTSAV and celebration of World Creativity and Innovations Day was formally presided over by Dr.Anu Kapil the College Principal. To underake the activity, students of Computer Department participated in the Exhibition of Best out of Waste from the discarded material that was praiseworthy. On 22 April the session was on the topic Masterclass on Patent and Design Registration from 11.30 AM to 1.00 PM in the College E- Classroom followed by the talk session on April 23,24 ,25 and 26, 2025 with the titles Master Class in Copyright,Masterclass on Trademark and Geographical Indication,Significance of IP Protection and Commercialization and Patent to Product(Srujanta se Sammrudhi).The talk sessions were very productive, constructive and informative for the students and they have learnt a lot on the specific topics that will be very vital for stimulating their learning skills and accelerate the pace of understanding the technicality of these topics. At the closing day Madam Principal in her address appealed the students to be the part of the Innovation & creativity and Design their learning skills to get the sagacity of the professional course which they are pursuing. She also appreciated the Convener and Coordinators for making this learning platform more beneficial for the stakeholders . Hon'ble Madam Mrs Satnam Kaur ji Sekhon Worthy President Pheruman Trust and College Managing Committee Congratulated the Principal and the faculty for having organised such an informative talk session for the enhancement of learning skills of the students of the Department of Commerce. On April 26 ,2025 the College IIC celebrated the World Intellectual Property Day as a Celebration Activity.

PG Department of Computer Science and Application of the College celebrated World Creativity and Innovation Day on 21 April , 2025 under Institution's Innovation Council and undeetook an activity Best Out Of Waste in which the students created and crafted best things out of the waste and left over material. The creativity of the students was duly appreciated by Madam Principal of the College Dr.Anu Kapil.She took keen interest in the activity and admired the wonderful design created by the students under the guidance of their concerned faculty.The students of Science Department displayed the modals prepared by them and the exhibition of the talent was the showstopper of the event .Madam Principal in her address appreciated the effort of the students and the faculty of the Departments. The beneficiaries and the faculty graced the moment.Hon'ble Madam Mrs Satnam Kaur ji Sekhon Worthy President Pheruman Trust and College Managing Committee Congratulated the Principal and the faculty for having organised such a useful event in the College. In the event Asst. Prof. Mrs. Amanjot Kaur, Ms. Vandana, Mrs. Sumanpreet Kaur, Mrs. Jashandeep, Ms. Shivani, Ms. Jagroop Kaur and Ms. Kiran were present.

Department of NSS and the Red Ribbon Club collaborately celebrated the Birthday of Dr.BhimRao Ambedkar in the college campus. The event was presided over by the Principal of the College Dr.Anu Kapil.A speech Competition was arranged on the theme.More than 20 students competed and won the first second and third positions respectively. The winners were given away prizes by the Principal. In her address Madam Principal remembered the works done by Baba Sahib the Father of Indian Constitution. She appealed the students to take direction from the life and works of Baba Sahib. The Programming officers of NSS Asstt.Prof.Daljeet Kaur ,Asstt.Prof Vandana and Nodal officer of the RR Club Asstt.Prof.Inderpal Kaur extended vote of thanks to Madam Principal and the faculty members for gracing the occasion Hon'ble Madam Mrs Satnam Kaur Sekhon Worthy President Pheruman Trust and College Managing Committee Congratulated the Principal and the faculty for having organised such informative event.

Under the dexterous leadership of Madam Principal Dr. Mrs. Anu Kapil, The Red Ribbon Club of the College conducted an extension lecture on the theme of General Health and Hygiene among Women. Dr. Palak Gupta Gynecologist Civil Hospital Baba Bakala delivered a very informative, enlightening and impactful lecture covering all the aspect of the common reproductive diseases among the teen aged girls and the married women. She throw a light on the HIV,PCOS, PCOD, Sexual Violence and Hygiene during the Mensuration period. All the students beneficiaries gave a patient listening and attended a query session during which they got their queries resolved by the resource person. Dr. Palak was accompanied with the team consisting of ANM and MPHW from the civil hospital.College Principal extended heartiest gratitude to the resource person and presented a Token Of Gratitude.Nodal officer Asstt Prof Inderpal Kaur hosted the event. The Eco Club of S.D.S.P.Memorial College for Women, Rayya has hosted a 7 days Nature Camp as per the directives of Punjab State Council for Science and Technology Chandigarh,The Ministry of Environment and Forest Government of India in the College Campus from April 22-29.2024.The Camp was inaugurated by Principal of the College Dr. Mrs. Anu Kapil in the presence of Eco Club Incharge Asstt. Prof. Inderpal Kaur and the member students. Many activities were undertaken during the Nature Camp. The students undertook the cleanliness of the Herbal Garden of the College on the First Day of the Nature Camp. Best out of Waste activity was done beautifully on April 27, 2024. Selfie point was prepared by the Eco Club students where Madam Principal and the College Faculty took pledge individually. Slogan writing and Poster Making Competition was conducted on the theme on April 29, 2024. On the Valedictory of the Nature Camp the winners were given away the prizes. Madam Principal addressed the students to participate in the activities for keeping the surrounding green and clean. Madam Principal extended heartfelt thanks acknowledging the opportunity and the grant provided by the Dean College Development Council Guru Nanak Dev University.
