As part of the ๐Ž๐ฎ๐ญ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐œ๐ก ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐š๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ž for the academic year 2026โ€“27, 11 enthusiastic students from the Grades IV and V Student Council presented an impactful ๐๐ฎ๐ค๐ค๐š๐ ๐๐š๐ญ๐š๐ค, โ€œ๐€๐๐จ๐ฉ๐ญ ๐’๐ก๐š๐๐ฎ ๐‚๐ฅ๐š๐ฒ, ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ญ๐ž๐œ๐ญ ๐๐š๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž,โ€ at ๐€๐๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ๐š ๐•๐ข๐ฏ๐š๐ณ on 12th September, 2026. Through powerful dialogues, creative expressions, slogans, posters and energetic performances, the young performers highlighted the harmful effects of ๐๐ฅ๐š๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐๐š๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ (๐๐Ž๐) idols on water bodies and the environment, while encouraging the community to embrace ๐ž๐œ๐จ-๐Ÿ๐ซ๐ข๐ž๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐’๐ก๐š๐๐ฎ ๐œ๐ฅ๐š๐ฒ ๐ข๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ฌ.

The students successfully captured the audienceโ€™s attention and transformed a simple street performance into a meaningful message about responsible celebrations and sustainable choices. Peace begins with a smile and grows through understanding.โ€ S.B. Patil Public School observed the ๐ˆ๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ง๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐š๐ฅ ๐ƒ๐š๐ฒ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐๐ž๐š๐œ๐ž on 21st September, 2026 through a meaningful special assembly conducted by the ๐†๐ซ๐š๐๐ž ๐ˆ๐ˆ๐ˆ ๐‘๐ž๐ ๐‡๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ž students. The programme beautifully explored the values of peace, harmony, empathy, respect and responsible citizenship through a melodious peace song, an informative speech and powerful monologues portraying the lives and messages of ๐Œ๐š๐ก๐š๐ญ๐ฆ๐š ๐†๐š๐ง๐๐ก๐ข, ๐Œ๐š๐ฅ๐š๐ฅ๐š ๐˜๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐š๐Ÿ๐ณ๐š๐ข ๐š๐ง๐ ๐๐ž๐ฅ๐ฌ๐จ๐ง ๐Œ๐š๐ง๐๐ž๐ฅ๐š.

Adding energy and ๐ฌ๐จ๐œ๐ข๐š๐ฅ ๐š๐ฐ๐š๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ to the celebration, the students presented a thought-provoking ๐๐ฎ๐ค๐ค๐š๐ ๐๐š๐ญ๐š๐ค ๐จ๐ง ๐๐ž๐š๐œ๐ž, reminding everyone that peace is not merely the absence of conflict but also the presence of ๐ค๐ข๐ง๐๐ง๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ, ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐œ๐ž, ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ง๐๐ข๐ง๐ , ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ž๐œ๐ญ in everyday life. The assembly served as a heartfelt reminder that peace begins with each of usโ€”through our words, actions, choices and the way we treat others.

S.B. Patil Public School celebrated ๐‡๐ข๐ง๐๐ข ๐ƒ๐ข๐ฐ๐š๐ฌ on 15th and 16th September 2026 through two engaging programmes that brought together ๐ฅ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฎ๐š๐ ๐ž, ๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž, ๐œ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž ๐š๐ง๐ ๐œ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ. Across both days, students had opportunities to listen, speak, perform and explore the richness and enduring significance of Hindi.

The celebrations featured informative presentations, speeches, a PPT on the history and development of Hindi, a lively skit, dance and a delightful ๐‡๐š๐ฌ๐ฒ๐š ๐Š๐š๐ฏ๐ข ๐’๐š๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ž๐ฅ๐š๐ง. The Grade 7 morning assembly, conducted entirely in Hindi, also witnessed the felicitation of winners of the ๐‡๐ข๐ง๐๐ข ๐’๐ฉ๐ž๐ž๐œ๐ก ๐‚๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ž๐ญ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง and Hindi teachers for their dedicated efforts in nurturing the language among students.

The spirit of Hindi Diwas also found its way into the library, where Hindi books and magazines were displayed, books were issued to students of Grades VI and VII, and Grades II and III enjoyed an engaging storytelling session. Through presentations, theatre, poetry, dance and storytelling, the two-day celebration left students with a renewed appreciation for the beauty and importance of Hindi.

Their vibrant performance was a beautiful blend of rhythm, expression, energy and seamless coordination. Every movement reflected the dedication, discipline and countless hours of practice invested by our young performers. Representing the school with confidence and enthusiasm, they created a memorable moment on stage and brought immense pride to the entire school community.

The school observed ๐…๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ž๐ซ๐ฌโ€™ ๐Œ๐ž๐ฆ๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐š๐ฅ ๐ƒ๐š๐ฒ on 15th September, 2026 with reverence and gratitude, paying heartfelt tribute to its visionary founder, ๐‹๐š๐ญ๐ž ๐’๐ก๐ซ๐ข. ๐’๐ก๐š๐ง๐ค๐š๐ซ ๐‘๐š๐จ ๐๐š๐ฃ๐ข๐ซ๐š๐จ ๐๐š๐ญ๐ข๐ฅ ๐’๐ข๐ซ. A special morning assembly reflected upon his dedication, foresight and commitment to education. The programme began with a school prayer and the garlanding of his portrait, followed by a soulful bhajan, the recitation of the School Vision and Mission, and a meaningful address highlighting the ideals that continue to guide the institution.

The students of Grade V โ€“ Yellow House also presented a special assembly that brought the Founderโ€™s journey and ideals to life. From the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and a soulful bhajan to an engaging drama, poignant poem and thoughtfully curated PowerPoint presentation, each presentation reflected admiration and gratitude. A graceful dance performance added colour and vibrancy to the occasion, allowing the students to express their appreciation for a legacy rooted in education and service.

The day was more than a remembranceโ€”it was a celebration of the strong foundation upon which the institution continues to flourish. The programmes concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, acknowledging everyone who contributed to the occasion. The ideals of Late Shri Shankar Rao Bajirao Patil Sir continue to resonate through the students, teachers and staff, reminding generations of learners that a lasting legacy is built when the power of education is carried forward with purpose.

Over 40 faculty of S.B. Patil Public School experienced a refreshing and enriching journey of self-discovery through an engaging Art Therapy session conducted on 12th September, 2026, led by Ms. Priyam Mehta, Founder of Second Wind. Moving beyond the conventional understanding of art, the session invited teachers to pause, breathe and reconnect with themselves through ๐œ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ, ๐ฆ๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ, ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ข๐œ, ๐ฉ๐จ๐ž๐ญ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ซ๐ž๐Ÿ๐ฅ๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง. It was a welcome opportunity to step away from the rhythm of everyday responsibilities and simply be.

Through walking ๐ซ๐ก๐ฒ๐ญ๐ก๐ฆ๐ฌ, ๐๐š๐ง๐œ๐ž, ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ข๐œ created with everyday objects, painting and poetry, the teachers explored different ways of expressing thoughts and emotions. There was no emphasis on artistic perfectionโ€”only on experiencing, experimenting and listening to what emerged from within. Laughter and spontaneity mingled with moments of quiet introspection, while the activities offered fascinating glimpses into the personalities and perspectives of colleagues. In many ways, the experience showed how a brushstroke, a rhythm or a few words can sometimes say what ordinary conversation cannot.

More than a ๐œ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž ๐›๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ค ๐Ÿ๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ ๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ž, the session became a gentle reminder of the importance of pausing, listening to oneself, and nurturing one's own well-being. The spirit of Second Windโ€”creativity as a pathway to clarity, healing and renewed purposeโ€”resonated throughout the experience. As the faculty laughed, created, reflected and connected, they rediscovered something beautifully simple: sometimes, finding ourselves begins with giving ourselves permission to play, express and simply listen.

12th September, 2026 was a vibrant day of joyful, activity-based learning for our students. Grades III to V enjoyed a lively ๐๐š๐ ๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ƒ๐š๐ฒ that took learning beyond textbooks through ๐†๐š๐ง๐ž๐ฌ๐ก๐š ๐ฆ๐š๐ค๐ข๐ง๐ , bookmark designing, Brain Gym and Movie Time. The activities encouraged students to explore their artistic abilities, use eco-friendly materials, develop concentration and thinking skills, nurture their love for reading, and learn through visual storytelling.

The day was further enriched by the ๐‡๐ข๐ง๐๐ข ๐ƒ๐ข๐ฐ๐š๐ฌ ๐€๐ซ๐ญ-๐’๐ค๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ Flash Card Competition, in which Grade IV students created colourful flash cards featuring Hindi words, related pictures and three เคชเคฐเฅเคฏเคพเคฏเคตเคพเคšเฅ€ เคถเคฌเฅเคฆ (synonyms).

The competition beautifully combined language learning with artistic expression, strengthening vocabulary, conceptual understanding, communication and confidence.

Our young learners of Grades I and II celebrated the spirit of ๐†๐š๐ง๐ž๐ฌ๐ก ๐‚๐ก๐š๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ญ๐ก๐ข through a joyful and creative ๐†๐š๐ง๐ž๐ฌ๐ก๐š ๐ˆ๐๐จ๐ฅ ๐Œ๐š๐ค๐ข๐ง๐  ๐€๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ on 11th September 2026. Grade I students moulded clay to create their own Ganesha idols, while Grade II students explored the art of origami by folding colourful paper into beautiful Ganesha creations.
Guided by their teachers, the children participated with enthusiasm and delight, turning their classrooms into spaces of imagination, creativity and learning.

Beyond the joy of creating, the activity helped strengthen fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, imagination and an appreciation for Indian culture and traditions. The children's pride was evident as they happily carried their ๐ก๐š๐ง๐๐ฆ๐š๐๐ž ๐†๐š๐ง๐ž๐ฌ๐ก๐š ๐ข๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ฌ home, giving them an opportunity to share their creativity and learning with their families. It was a beautiful blend of art, culture and experiential learningโ€”proving once again that little hands can create something truly meaningful.
