We celebrated World Environment Day at school today with a powerful morning assembly speech and a hands-on plantation drive. It was wonderful to see our students so eager to dig in, plant trees, and take responsibility for our beautiful planet.

On the occasion of World Menstrual Hygiene Day, our school assembly transformed into a vibrant hub of awareness and learning.
From an empowering speech by our Health Ambassador and creative chart displays by our Health Messengers, to a fun Quiz Competition led by our Health Ambassador of Health and Wellness Club of our school. We wrapped up the morning with a deeply informative and comforting session by our Headmistress, who shared essential knowledge regarding menstrual health.

A Morning of Mindfulness at Govt. Sec. School Sangmoo South Sikkim
Today, our students and staff gathered for a refreshing yoga session to kick off the morning. Lead by our school Headmistress, the session focused on wellness, balance, and mental clarity. It’s wonderful to see our school community coming together to prioritize health and mindfulness!

Creativity with a cause! 🎨 Last Saturday, our school came alive with colors as students from both junior and senior categories participated in a painting competition themed 'Free from Addiction.'

It was truly inspiring to see their interpretations of a healthy, drug-free life. Congratulations to all our winners who took home prizes, and a huge well done to every participant for using their talent to spread such an important message!

Football, leadership, and school spirit! ⚽🤝
Today Junior level Football Competition was a beautiful display of our school community coming together. While our juniors were finding their footing on the pitch, our senior students stepped up to manage the game as referee (Nimesh Rai)and linesmen ( Sandesh Rai & Alin Rai).
This gave our younger players the confidence to compete, while our seniors gained valuable experience in fair play and leadership. Proud of both our budding athletes and our young officials!

On 16.04.2026 , we held an interactive meeting with the guardians of Classes 1, 2, and 3. The session focused on educating Special Numeracy Programme to guardians, designed to build a strong mathematical foundation for our students.
We are grateful to the parents for their active participation and commitment to their children's learning journey. Together, we can make numbers fun and meaningful! 🔢✅
