Today,we were honoured to welcome Mrs. Archana Gurung,Joint Director, Education Department, Ravangla Sub- Division along with the A.E Engineering section, Education Department Namchi to Government Primary School, Upper Borong.

She inspected the landslide- affected area,reviewed the school's infrastructure and academic activities,and interacted with our students.

We sincerely thank her for valuable guidance, encouragement and concern for our school.🙏

Deputy Director Mr. T.Gyatsho Bhutia and Mr. Pintsho Namgyal Bhutia, Education Department Rabong, along with SMC and guardians visited the school to see the damage caused by the slide . A detailed report has been submitted to the HOD, Namchi. The DEO has assured to visit the school with the engineering team for the assessment and immediate intervention.

The teaching- learning process would continue as usual in the old semi- katcha school till further developments.
