The Inter-House Badminton Tournament of King George School, Saramsa was held from 15th to 18th April 2026 as part of the school’s co-curricular activities.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and physical fitness through healthy competition. 🌟

On 1st May 2026, King George School, Saramsa proudly conducted the Investiture Ceremony of the Bharat Scouts and Guides with the guidance of distinguished members from the Gangtok Unit:

• Mr. Prakash Kazi Shakya — State Secretary (Sikkim State)
• Mr. Dhan Raj Gurung — State Commissioner, Scout Adult Resource
• Mrs. Mamta Chhetri — Assistant Training Commissioner (Guide Wing)

The ceremony, prepared and led by the Scout Master and Guide Captain, included flag hoisting, Promise and Law, scarf & badge presentation, motivational addresses, and ceremonial proceedings reflecting the true spirit of scouting and guiding.

Our young scouts and guides proudly pledged themselves to the values of discipline, leadership, teamwork, and service, embracing the motto: “Be Prepared.”

On 22nd April 2026, King George School, Saramsa observed Earth Day with meaningful activities to promote environmental awareness.

Students delivered speeches with chart paper displays and actively participated in a plantation drive, reflecting their commitment to a greener and healthier planet. 🌿🌏

Together, we take small steps today for a sustainable tomorrow. 💚

A grand celebration of football, youth, and 10 years of excellence. ⚽🏆

The 5th Chogyal Cup (U-12 Boys) & 5th Gyalmo Cup (U-12 Girls) 2026 concluded successfully at King George School, Saramsa as part of our 10th Founders’ Day celebrations.

Under the theme “From Grassroots to Greatness,” the tournament brought together young talents in an inspiring showcase of passion, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
