Earth Day Celebration
Our school Seth Ramji Dass DAV CENTENARY Public School celebrated Earth Day with great enthusiasm and fervor, inspiring students to become stewards of our planet. The event was marked with various activities and lessons focused on environmental awareness and sustainability.

Students created videos showcasing their environmental projects and shared them with their peers, promoting collective environmental responsibility.
Students made a pledge to take action and plan to protect the environment, with parents and teachers encouraged to support them.
Performances by students were excellent .Nukkad Natak was dramatised by the students .A group of students performed dance according to the theme
The Earth Day celebration was a success, promoting environmental awareness and inspiring students to take action to protect our planet. The Principal Dr. Dinesh Sharma highlighted the importance of sustainability and encouraged students to develop eco-friendly habits.

डीएवी स्कूल, रानिया में महात्मा हंसराज जयंती को धूमधाम से मनाया।
दिनांक 19 अप्रैल 2025: सेठ रामजी दास डीएवी पब्लिक स्कूल रानियां में महात्मा हंसराज की जयंती को बड़े धूमधाम से मनाया। जयंती के उपलक्ष में प्रातः सभा में विद्यालय के प्राचार्य डॉ०दिनेश शर्मा ने महात्मा हंसराज जी के चित्र पर श्रद्धा सुमन अर्पित किये, उनके साथ विद्यालय के कोऑर्डिनेटर हरिओम शर्मा तथा समस्त अध्यापक गण ने माल्यार्पण किया।
इस अवसर पर विद्यालय की 11वीं कक्षा की छात्रा तृप्ति शर्मा ने उनके जीवन पर भाषण दिया। कक्षा आठवीं की छात्रा तृप्ति सेठी ने महात्मा हंसराज के जीवन से संबंधित एक कविता प्रस्तुत की। विद्यालय की अध्यापिका रमन ने महात्मा हंसराज के जीवन पर प्रकाश डालते हुए बताया कि महात्मा हंसराज स्वतंत्रता सेनानी के साथ साथ वे शिक्षा विद एवं विद्वान भी थे।
इस पावन अवसर पर विद्यालय प्रांगण में वैदिक हवन यज्ञ का आयोजन भी किया गया।
जिसमें विद्यालय के सभी विद्यार्थियों एवं अध्यापक गण ने आहुति अर्पित की। विद्यालय के प्राचार्य दिनेश शर्मा ने बताया कि महात्मा हंसराज डीएवी संस्था के संस्थापक सदस्य एवं प्रथम कॉलेज के प्रिंसिपल थे। जो कि लाहौर में खोला गया था ।उन्होंने जीवन पर्यन्त डीएवी संस्था की तन मन धन से सेवा की। डीएवी संस्था सदैव महात्मा हंसराज का ऋणी रहेगा। उन्हीं की बदौलत आज डीएवी संस्था देश विदेशो में गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षा प्रदान कर रही है। यह संस्था विश्व की सबसे बड़ी गैर सरकारी संस्था है। विद्यालय के चेयरमैन विद्याभूषण चुघ ने तथा विद्यालय की मैनेजर सुनीता मदान ने सभी को महात्मा हंसराज की जयंती की शुभकामनाएं दी।

On 11/04/2025(Friday), our school celebrated the vibrant festival of Baisakhi with great enthusiasm and fervor. This significant occasion marked the beginning of the harvest season and the Sikh New Year.

The celebration commenced with singing Bhajans, Speeches , folk songs, Bhangra and Gidda . The school was nicely decorated with kites,flowers, streamers, and traditional Punjabi attire.
Students presented a soulful kirtan (Sikh devotional singing) and energetic Gidda dance performances, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Punjab.
In Bhangra students showcased their energetic dance moves and traditional attire.Students actively participated in various activities.
The Baisakhi celebration was a resounding success, promoting cultural awareness, diversity, and community spirit among students. It was a memorable experience for all, highlighting the importance of preserving and celebrating our rich heritage.
