Today, the students of Class X-B beautifully presented a lively Nepali Lok Dohori performance during the morning assembly. Their melodious singing, energetic presentation, and coordination captivated the audience and reflected the richness of our cultural heritage.

🌿 World Environment Day Celebrated at PM SHRI GSSS Rangpo 🌿

On the occasion of World Environment Day, PM SHRI GSSS Rangpo actively participated in the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" campaign, promoting environmental conservation and honouring the invaluable role of mothers.

A tree plantation drive was carried out within the school campus by the Principal, staff members, and students. Adding special significance to the event, mothers also joined the plantation programme, making it a meaningful celebration of both nature and motherhood.

The initiative highlighted the importance of planting trees for a greener future while expressing gratitude to mothers who nurture and sustain life, just as trees nurture and sustain our environment.

Together, we pledged to protect nature and contribute towards a cleaner, greener, and healthier planet.

PM SHRI GSSS, Rangpo observed World Environment Day with great enthusiasm and active participation from students, teachers, and staff members. The celebration commenced during the morning assembly, where Eco Club members delivered a speech highlighting the significance of World Environment Day and the importance of environmental conservation. Students also prepared and displayed posters, placards, and charts carrying meaningful messages on environmental protection, biodiversity conservation, waste management, and sustainable living, creating awareness among the school community.

The programme was jointly conducted by various school groups and clubs, including the Eco Club, NSS, NCC, and Sulabh School Sanitation Club. For effective implementation, different areas of the school campus were allocated to each group and club. Students carried out plantation and cleanliness activities in their respective areas with dedication, discipline, and teamwork.
A total of 100 saplings were planted within the school premises to enhance the green cover and promote environmental conservation. All students participated energetically and demonstrated a strong commitment towards protecting the environment.

Paper Flower Demonstration: A Bloom of Creativity 🌸

On 2nd June, a captivating Paper Flower Demonstration was conducted for all the students of PM SHRI GSSS Rangpo. The activity introduced students to the creative art of making beautiful flowers from paper, encouraging imagination and artistic expression.
Students across all classes participated with keen interest, but it was the primary students who seemed to enjoy the activity the most. Their excitement, curiosity, and joyful reactions made the session especially lively and memorable. Watching the paper transform into colourful flowers filled the young learners with wonder and enthusiasm.
Such creative activities not only make learning enjoyable but also help develop concentration, creativity, and fine motor skills among students.
A day filled with colours, creativity, and countless smiles! 🌼✨
