On the first day of every month, a special assembly is held at Zitlang JHS, during which badges are awarded to students in different categories to recognize their achievements.
For this month, the awards were presented as follows:
•Most Tidy Student: Dristree Darjee
•Best Speaker: Samuel Rai
Students of the Month (Class-wise):
•Class II – Wangchen Tamang
•Class III – Nikita Sharma
•Class IV – Shruti Rai
•Class V – Bidhya Darjee
•Class VI – Prabha Tamang
•Class VII – Shristi Rai
•Class VIII – Ganga sharki
The students selected as Student of the Month will serve as the Class Captain for the entire month, taking on leadership responsibilities in their respective classes.

The meal was healthy, tasty, and prepared with love and care, bringing joy and smiles to the faces of both students and staff. This generous and thoughtful meal was sponsored by Mrs. (Kamala Devi Chettri PRT), and her kind gesture is sincerely appreciated by the entire school family.

Advisor Mr. Abhisek Chettri, along with Sir Mr. D.B. Chauhan, Mr. Bimal Tamang, and Mr. Amit Chettri, graced their presence at the morning assembly of Zitlang Junior High School.
The Zilla Panchayat also delivered a short and encouraging speech to the gathering. On this occasion, he generously donated a sound system to the school, which will greatly support future school programs and activities.

An oath taking ceremony organised at Zitlang jhs on 20.02.2026.During the ceremony the Headmistress gives the captains a promise (oath)to repeat. The students promise to do their duties honestly ,follow school rules and help other students as well. They also promise to be good role models.The captains are given tie and badges. The oath taking ceremony teaches students to be responsible, confident and helpful.The programme concluded on a high note with happy and excited faces of the captains as well as whole school family.
