To support the health, nutrition, and healthy growth of our little learners, we have started providing milk to 30 kindergarten students every school day. The milk is served during the short break, followed by the nutritious Mid-Day Meal at lunchtime.

Teachers' Tasty Treats

On 29th July 2026, four teachers Dhana Pradhan Dhana Pradhan, Suraksha Gurung Pradhan, Arunima Tamang, and Basanta Giri generously sponsored a special mid-day meal for all students from Nursery to Class X.

The meal included rice, dal, chicken, paneer, aloo dum, and achar. The students enjoyed the nutritious and delicious meal with great happiness.

Such kind gestures promote care, sharing, and a positive school environment. The school sincerely appreciates the teachers for their thoughtful contribution.

On 28 July 2026, a School Health Camp was organised at Govt Secondary School Chanatar, Rangpo. A team of doctors and healthcare professionals from Rangpo PHC under RBSK conducted health check-ups for all students. Hemoglobin tests were also carried out. Students found to be anaemic or suffering from other health problems were referred for further medical care. A vaccination drive for 5-year-old, 10-year-old, and 16-year-old students was also conducted successfully on the same day.

Today, our school health ambassador, Mrs Arati Sharma and students participated in the Anti-Dengue Month programme organised by Rangpo PHC. They joined a dengue awareness rally followed by an awareness session on dengue prevention.

Students also participated in an inter-school poster-making competition, where Nandani Kumari of Class VIII won the 3rd Prize.
