Economics class turned into the floor of Parliament!
Grade 12 students of Heartfulness International School (CBSE, Kanha Campus) conducted “The Parliamentary Budget Session” with Grade 11 as the audience. Students stepped into the roles of Speaker, Finance Minister, Defence Minister, Members of Parliament and Opposition — presenting and debating real budget proposals for defence, agriculture, infrastructure, education and more.
The activity gave them practical understanding of the Union Budget, government expenditure, taxation and parliamentary procedures while building critical thinking, public speaking, teamwork and decision-making skills.
Learning was no longer theoretical. It was lively, real and completely experiential.

🇮🇳 Special Assembly – Har Ghar Tiranga Awareness Campaign
📍 Heartfulness International School, CBSE Campus, Kanha

Today, our school conducted a Special Assembly to mark the Har Ghar Tiranga Awareness Campaign. The event was organized and led by 50 NCC cadets (1st and 2nd year), and attended by students from Grade I to XII along with all teaching and non-teaching staff.

The cadets explained the significance of our National Flag, spoke about the importance of the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative, and encouraged every family to proudly hoist the Tiranga at home. They also shared guidelines from the Flag Code of India on respectful hoisting and handling of the flag.

The assembly concluded with everyone taking the Har Ghar Tiranga pledge — a proud reminder of unity, patriotism, and responsible citizenship. 🎖️🇮🇳
