It gives us immense pleasure to have conducted a Live Webinar on IP Litigation on 29th January 2022. The keynote speaker- Ms. Akshatha M Patel, an alumna of NUSRL Ranchi and founder of Aarde Law Chambers - Trademark & Patent Attorneys deliberated upon the intricacies of Intellectual Property Litigation, its evolution in India, the Criminal and Civil remedies, jurisdictional questions involving such disputes and the modern scenario post the abolition of the IPAB. The event witnessed an impressive attendance from participants belonging to numerous educational and professional backgrounds. The forum also witnessed a Q&A session post the completion of the lecture wherein a wide variety of IP enthusiasts, including students, practitioners and Academicians put forward their questions to be answered by the speaker. The session ended with an address by Dr. MRS Murthy, Associate Professor, NUSRL Ranchi and Faculty Convenor of CSRIPR.

It gives us immense pleasure to share with you that we have finally shortlisted a total of 25 students for the August 2021 Internship under the aegis of CSRIPR.

We had released "Call for Interns" during the first week of June 2021, in response to which we had received more than 1600 applications. The applicants went through a three-prong process wherein 50 students were shortlisted and were further interviewed by our faculty in charge and PhD scholars associated with CSRIPR.

Greetings from the Center for Study and Research in Intellectual Property Rights (CSRIPR)!

CSRIPR has received close to 1600 international and domestic applications in response to call for online part-time internship programme. We are humbled by the huge positive response received and after a detailed scrutiny of the curriculum vitae of the applicants, we have shortlisted 50 students for the interview round. Out of these 50, we will further shortlist 25 students finally for the internship programme.

The duration of internship is from 1st August 2021 to 31st August 2021 and the job description is identify, debate and analyze contemporary IP issues and develop research articles.

Our motto is to create a think-tank on the contemporary challenges faced by the IPR in the 21st century and to develop a research pool for the benefit of the IP aspirants.
