Centre for Child Rights at National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi, in collaboration with the Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority (JHALSA) and UNICEF, has successfully conducted a two-day Refresher Training Program on the roles and responsibilities of support persons under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act 2012 and its Amendment Rules 2020 on April 29-30, 2024, at the university campus.

Centre for Child Rights, National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi successfully completed One Day National Conference on “Best Interest of Child & Child Protection: Challenges in Interpretation and Enforcement” scheduled on 24th April, 2024 at NUSRL, Ranchi.
The Chief Guest for the event was Shri Manoj Kumar, (I.A.S) Principal Secretary, DWCD&SS., Government of Jharkhand. The Guest of Honour for the event was Dr. Joseph Marianus Kujur, Director XISS Ranchi. The event was also graced by the presence of Dr. Ashok Patil, Vice Chancellor, NUSRL, Ranchi who delivered the Welcome Address. Other members present during the seminar were Ms. Parul, Education Specialist, UNICEF Jharkhand, Associate Professor, Dr. Syamala Kandadai, Dean of Faculty, NUSRL, Ranchi & Co-Head Centre for Child Rights & Assistant Professor, Dr. Jisu Ketan Pattanaik, Co-Head, Centre for Child Rights and Meenakshi Sahu Technical Consultant, Centre for Child Rights.

Successfully completed 02 Days Refresher Training cm Sharing meeting of Gender CRPs on Child Protection scheduled on 21-22 April 2024. The training program was organized by Centre for Child Rights, NUSRL Ranchi in collaboration with UNCEF Jharkhand and JSLPS. The training program was attended by Block Resource Person of JSLPS from Palamu, Garhwa , Giridih, Hazaribagh, Ramgarh, Godda, Bokaro, West Singhbhum, Dumka, and Ranchi districts of Jharkhand.
