Mentoship Programme 2015:

The Mid Sem presentation will be held on Saturday 28th March.

The presentation should be of 10-15 mins. The presentation will be group wise. In your presentation highlight the work you have done up till now. The Mid-Sem Presentation has 30 marks weightage toward your final marks so prepare well.

This is the final topic allotment for Mentorship Programme 2014-15

By next week you are supposed to meet your 2k11 mentor. The contact list has also been shared.

The deadline for the Abstract Submission is 6th Feburary, 2015.

The abstract will be of 2-3 pages, handwritten and submitted groupwise.It must include:
1. Introduction
2. Previous work done by Seniors
3. Your plans to make further progress on the topic

The abstract needs to be signed by any one of your 2k11 mentors and submitted to:

1. Abhishek Kumar (2k13)

3. Utkarsh Tiwari (2k12)
4. Utkarsha Mani (2k12)

All those who could not submit their names for Mentorship Program due to any reason may mail their project preferences by 2 PM on 19 September with:

1. Contact details: Name, Roll, E mail ID, Phone no.
2. Reason for not submitting their responses in stipulated time
3. 3 Preferences for topics

However your case will be considered only if your reason is acceptable.

The topics will be allotted based on availability of slots.

Adieu from EEE Soc executive body(2013-14)! we had an awesome last year and the support from our batch-mates and juniors was outstanding. Hope the legacy grows with time.Best wishes to the new executive body.

Just to clarify , the date of presentation is 12.04.2014(Saturday). Date of submission of thesis and poster submission has been postponed to 15.04.2014(Tuesday) as a relaxation due to lab exams etc.

Since it is a departmental presentation so all are instructed to be on time as per the slots given.

The date for the final presentation has been finalized for the 12th & 13th April. The exact slots will be specified later. However you are required to be ready with the following:

1. Presentation : In power point, Same format as earlier. [40 marks]

2. Project Report/ Thesis: At least 15-20 pages. [20 marks]

3.Poster : 1-2 Chart Papers: Describing your project, Aim, [10 marks]
Methodology etc.

Please note that All 3 are mandatory.

Since the final presentation will be judged by the faculty you are advised to be thorough with your preparation.

Buses leave BIT Mesra at 6:30 am sharp.

This is to inform that the dates for Mock presentation of the mentorship program has been finalized as 18th and 19th of this month and it carries 30 marks.
18.01.2014(saturday) - 12:30pm to 5pm
19.01.2014(sunday) - 11am to 3pm
Venue: ESR(Electrical Seminar Room)

This presentation has to be given in a group as allotted at the beginning of the program. The group wise time slot will be mailed/informed by 15.01.2014(wednesday).

The time duration for the presentation is 10 minutes(approx.) and number of slides is 10(max.)

The presentation must include:
1. Name of the Topic.
2. Introduction
3. Explanation of the fundamental principles behind the topic.
4. Hardware application(if any) and its intricacies.
5. Observation/graph obtained of the hardware prepared.
6. Future course of action.

A short meeting has been called on 07.01.2014(monday) at 4:20pm in Electrical Seminar Room to discuss the further activities of mentorship program from now till its completion i.e. in march.
