🌟 Success Story – Gulam Haqani 🌟
Hailing from Baghbad village in Giridih, Gulam Haqani, son of Mohammad Sarfaraz, always dreamt of achieving something in life. Despite financial challenges, he chose not to give up.
With determination, Gulam enrolled at AISECT – Deen Dayal Upadhyay Kaushal Kendra, Giridih under the FTOHA trade. During training, he worked hard to acquire new technical skills.
Upon completion, he was provided with a tool kit (Electric & Electronic repairing Purpose) , which became the first step towards his journey of self-reliance. With this support, Gulam started his own work and is now successfully earning his livelihood, supporting his family, and standing on his own feet.
His journey proves that with the right skills and opportunities, one can truly shape their destiny. Gulam’s story inspires countless youth with the message:
“Skill is Empowerment, and Self-Reliance begins with it.”

📢 Special Self-Employment Campaign organized in Giridih by AISECT – Deen Dayal Upadhyay Kaushal Kendra
AISECT – Deen Dayal Upadhyay Kaushal Kendra, Giridih successfully organized a Special Campaign on Self-Employment and Skill Development to empower the local youth with opportunities for training, employment, and entrepreneurship.
🔹 Key Highlights of the Campaign
145 participants actively engaged in the program
41 youth connected with employment & self-employment opportunities
34 trainees linked to skill-based training initiatives
The campaign also witnessed the presence of industry representatives and officials who inspired and guided the youth to move forward on the path of self-reliance.
✨ This initiative marks a meaningful step towards creating sustainable livelihoods and contributing to the vision of an Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India).

🌟 Special Placement Drive & Toolkit Distribution @ AISECT University, Hazaribagh🌟
On 20th August 2025, a successful Special Placement Drive & Toolkit Distribution was organized under the Mukhyamantri Sarthi Yojana, supervised by JSDMS.
👩🎓👨🎓 Nearly 305 trained youth participated in the drive:
✅ 170 from AISECT
✅ 55 from Universal Ideal Sewa Samiti
✅ 80 from Sai Beauty Institute
💼 Leading recruiters like Royal Classic, KPR Mills, 2050 Healthcare, and local employers interacted directly with candidates, creating ample employment opportunities.
🔧 To encourage self-employment & entrepreneurship, toolkits were distributed to selected trainees – 5 from AISECT DDUKK and 3 from Sai Beauty Institute – to support their start-up journeys.
👥 The event was graced by eminent dignitaries and officials, reinforcing the Government of Jharkhand’s vision of empowering youth through sustainable livelihood opportunities.
✨ This initiative truly bridged the gap between training & employment, while nurturing a culture of self-reliance among the youth.

World Youth Skills Day Celebration | Giridih
AISECT - Deen Dayal Upadhyay Kaushal Kendra, Giridih proudly celebrated ''World Youth Skills Day'' with great enthusiasm and energy.
The event was honoured by the presence of Shri Vishwanath Prasad Verma, representative of the Mukhiya of Pindatand, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. His encouraging words inspired the youth to pursue skill development and become self-reliant.
The day highlighted the importance of skilling, reskilling, and upskilling in shaping the future of our youth and building an empowered society.

A formal and productive meeting was held with officials of ICFAI University, aimed at strengthening student engagement and placement support initiatives. The session was attended by 7 students and university leadership.
🔹 Key highlights of the meeting:
1️⃣ Planning Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) on placement-related topics
2️⃣ Detailed interactions with the Registrar
3️⃣ Discussions with the Placement Head on collaborative efforts
4️⃣ Preparations underway for the next meeting with 50 students, likely next week
5️⃣ Preliminary talks on organizing a “Rojgaar Mela” to enhance employment opportunities for students

📍 Focus Group Discussion | Ranchi Women’s College

A meaningful Focus Group Discussion (FGD) was conducted at Ranchi Women’s College, engaging 30 female students from domains like MBA and BBA. The session was held in two insightful rounds, moderated by Ms. Neha Kaur (T&P Head, Science Block).

AISECT celebrated World Youth Skills Day at its center in Giridih with great fervor and enthusiasm. The event was a resounding success as it witnessed the participation of talented youth showcasing their skills in trades such as Assistant Electrician and Self Employed Tailor.
The winners were awarded momentos and appreciation certificates, while the runners were honored with medals and appreciation certificates for their outstanding performance. The event not only recognized the hard work and dedication of these young individuals but also served as a platform to encourage skill development among the youth.
We are grateful to all those who contributed to making this event a success - JSDMS, our dedicated staff members, and everyone who attended the program. Their support played an integral role in empowering these young talents.
