Holy Child Public School, Hehal, Ranchi celebrated Children’s Day with great enthusiasm and joy. The day began with a heartfelt tribute to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the beloved Chacha Nehru, as students and teachers offered flowers in his memory. The floral offering highlighted his deep love and affection for children and reminded everyone of his contribution to the nation.

After the tribute, a series of fun-filled games and activities were organized for the students. Children actively participated in engaging events such as Inflate and Transfer, Segregate the Colours, Straw the Ball, Throw and Catch, and Make the Pyramid. Each activity was designed to promote teamwork, coordination, and creativity among the students. The atmosphere was filled with excitement, laughter, and healthy competition.

The celebration concluded on a cheerful note, leaving the children with wonderful memories of a day dedicated especially to them.

A Dental Health Check-up Camp was successfully organized at Holy Child Public School, Hehal, Ranchi on 14th October 2025. The camp was conducted by Dr. Sana Mahtab (Orthodentist) and Dr. Saket Saurav (Dentist), renowned dental professionals committed to promoting oral hygiene and preventive dental care.
The objective of the camp was to raise awareness among students about the importance of dental hygiene and to provide free dental check-ups. Students of Class V and VII participated in the camp. The doctors conducted thorough examinations and provided personalized advice on maintaining good oral health.
In addition to check-ups, an informative session was held where students were educated on proper brushing techniques, the importance of a balanced diet, and regular dental visits. Students actively engaged in the session, asking questions and showing enthusiasm to learn more about oral care.
The school management expressed sincere gratitude to Dr. Sana Mahtab and Dr. Saket Saurav for their time and service. The camp proved to be highly beneficial and was appreciated by both students and faculty. It served as a valuable initiative in instilling good dental hygiene habits among young learners.

The 79th Independence Day was celebrated in our school on 15 August 2025 with patriotic fervour. The Principal hoisted the National Flag, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. Students presented a disciplined march past and participated in a vibrant cultural programme featuring patriotic songs, dances showcasing unity in diversity, and skits, including a moving portrayal of the Jallianwala Bagh tragedy. The Principal addressed the gathering, highlighting the significance of the day.

On the 07th and 08th of August 2025, the students of Class VI from Holy Child Public School, Hehal, Ranchi went on an educational field trip to Ranchi Science City. The visit was organized to provide the students with a practical learning experience and to ignite their curiosity about science and
technology.
The students explored various sections of the Science City, including interactive science exhibits, the planetarium, and the 3D science theatre. They were particularly fascinated by the hands-on experiments and the models demonstrating scientific principles in a fun and engaging way.
The field trip was both educational and enjoyable. It helped the students gain a deeper understanding of classroom concepts and inspired them to explore scientific ideas with greater interest. Teachers accompanied the students throughout the visit, ensuring a safe and informative experience.

A field trip was organised by Holy Child Public School for the students of Class X on 13.05.2025
(Tuesday) & 14.05.2025 (Wednesday). The visit was organized to provide students with firsthand
exposure to industrial training facilities and enhance their understanding of vocational education and
modern manufacturing technologies. During the two-day visit, students were introduced to various
departments of the Tool Room. Experts from the institution gave live demonstrations and explained the
practical applications of different tools and machines used in the manufacturing industry.

On April 29, 2025, Holy Child Public School, Hehal, Ranchi proudly celebrated the achievements of its students in the Olympiads conducted by the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) during the academic session 2024–25.
The event aimed to recognize and encourage the spirit of academic excellence and competitive spirit among the students who had participated in various Olympiads including the National Science Olympiad (NSO), International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO), International English Olympiad (IEO), and National Cyber Olympiad (NCO). Students were awarded for their exceptional performance, with several receiving Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals, as well as Certificates of Excellence from SOF.

Holy Child Public School, Hehal, Ranchi, organized the Award Distribution Ceremony for Regularity on April 29, 2025, to acknowledge and reward students who maintained exceptional attendance throughout the academic session 2024–25.
A total of 18 students from various classes were recognized for their 100% attendance during the academic year. These students were awarded Certificates of Regularity and Trophy as a mark of recognition for their dedication and punctuality.
