The results of this year’s edition of the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT 2017)

HT reported that Rajat Maloo from Jaipur topped the undergraduate exam with a score of 154.25. Vihit Ashish Shah of Maharashtra and Radhika Sharda from Rajasthan took the second and third ranks woth scores of 150.25 and 148.5 respectively. Sumit Kumar Gupta from Bihar was in fourth, with a score of 147.5.

According to the report, 47,108 students reported for the online undergraduate exam.

A total of 2299 seats are up for grab in the eighteen national law universities across different categories. The total number of all-India seats is 1468, whereas 579 seats are reserved under state categories. 252 seats are reserved under special categories like Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Foreign Nationals and Residents of Jammu & Kashmir.

Maharasthra National Law University (MNLU), Nagpur had recently announced that it would double its intake from 60 to 120 seats starting this academic session.
