Her exceptional spontaneity, presence of mind, confidence, and engaging stage presence earned her this special recognition. Atharv Kumar (IX B) also represented the school with confidence and commendable communication skills. The school congratulates both students for their impressive performance.

Health Screening and Dental Health Check-up at Firayalal Public School
Firayalal Public School conducted two important health initiatives on 22nd August 2026 to promote the well-being of its students. A Filaria Test was organized for students of Grades 1 and 2 in collaboration with a team of doctors from the Government Health Department, with parents present during the screening. The initiative focused on health awareness and timely detection. The school also welcomed Dr. Ravi Raushan and his team from Medanta Hospital for a comprehensive Dental Health Check-up for students of Classes VI to VIII. Students received valuable guidance on oral hygiene, proper brushing techniques, healthy dental habits, and regular dental check-ups. The school sincerely appreciates both medical teams and the parents for their cooperation and support in making these initiatives successful.

ICAI Conducts Career Counselling Session at Firayalal Public School Ranchi:
Firayalal Public School, Ranchi organised a career counselling session for students of Classes IX and XI in collaboration with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Ranchi Branch. The session was addressed by CA Dilip Kumar, Secretary, ICAI Ranchi Branch; CA Manisha Biyani; and CA Prerna Poddar, who apprised students about the Chartered Accountancy profession, eligibility, career pathways and opportunities in finance, taxation, auditing and business.
Dr. Monika Bhatia, Firayalal Public School, coordinated the session and facilitated the interaction with students. The programme provided students with valuable guidance to make informed career choices.
The school acknowledged the efforts of the Vice Principal Ma'am Mrs. Haneet Munjal, for organising the programme and appreciated the teachers for their support in ensuring its smooth and successful conduct.

हिंदी-संस्कृत काव्य लेखन एवं पाठ प्रतियोगिता
फिरायालाल पब्लिक स्कूल, राँची में 21 अगस्त 2026 को कक्षा VI से IX के विद्यार्थियों के लिए हिंदी-संस्कृत काव्य लेखन एवं पाठ प्रतियोगिता आयोजित की गई। विद्यार्थियों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लेकर अपनी काव्य प्रतिभा, उच्चारण, लय एवं भावाभिव्यक्ति का सुंदर प्रदर्शन किया। प्रतियोगिता विद्यार्थियों में सृजनात्मकता एवं आत्मविश्वास बढ़ाने में सफल रही।

Jharkhand Ke Dadhichi: Celebrating Our Heroes.
Students of Firayalal Public School had the honour of attending ‘Jharkhand Ke Dadhichi’ at the RIMS Auditorium. The event was organized by Dainik Bhaskar.
It celebrated the legendary heroes and freedom fighters of Jharkhand. Students presented handmade paintings portraying Jharkhand’s rich culture and heritage. They made artistic hand-painted terracotta pots and dedicated them to the revered heroes who contributed to the state’s freedom movement.
Chairman, Mr. Ritul Munjal was felicitated on the occasion. Vice Principal, Mrs. Haneet Munjal was present on the occasion who received the prestigious honour on behalf of Chairman Sir.
The event offered an inspiring opportunity to honour our heroes and connect with Jharkhand’s rich heritage.

Celebrating the Spirit of Freedom: Our 80th Independence Day:
Firayalal Public School, Ranchi, celebrated the
80th Independence Day of India on 15th August 2026 with immense patriotic fervour, dignity, and exuberance.
The August celebration commenced with the ceremonial welcoming of the distinguished guest, Chairman, Mr. Ritul Munjal, Vice Principal, Mrs. Haneet Munjal and Mr. Ajit, Secretary of the Ajay Munjal Memorial Trust.
It was followed by the hoisting of the Tricolour and the rendition of the National Anthem, evoking profound pride and reverence for our motherland. The Head Boy delivered a gracious welcome address, followed by an inspiring speech by the Vice Principal. The meticulously synchronised P.T. Drill showcased discipline, coordination, and youthful vigour.
The cultural panorama unfolded through soulful instrumental performances, patriotic songs, an evocative dance presentation, the poignant act *“Maa Tujhe Salaam”*, and a heartfelt tribute to the nation.
The "Famous Personalities – Slogans" segment celebrated the architects and champions of India’s glorious journey.
The spectacular “Operation Vijay” Dance Drama paid homage to the courage and sacrifice of our armed forces. The ceremony concluded with a dignified Vote of Thanks, leaving every heart resonating with patriotism and pride.
Vice Principal, Mrs. Haneet Munjal, in her message, said,

A Celebration of Books, Imagination, and Young Talent.
Firayalal Public School witnessed a vibrant blend of literature, imagination, and creativity. The school commemorated National Librarians' Day, marking the 134th birth anniversary of Prof. S. R. Ranganathan, the father of library science in India. The celebration highlighted the timeless importance of books, libraries, and the enriching habit of reading.
Adding colour to the day was a Fancy Dress Competition for Classes I and II on the theme ‘Space and Beyond’, where young learners showcased their imagination with enthusiasm.
The Hindi Poem Recitation Competition for Classes III to V further enriched the day as students presented poems with confidence, expression, and grace.

World Elephant Day: A Call for Compassion and Conservation
Firayalal Public School observed World Elephant Day with a special assembly organised by the Elementary Wing. The programme sensitised students to the significance of elephants and the urgent need to protect these magnificent creatures. Through meaningful presentations and messages, students learned about preserving elephant habitats, preventing human-wildlife conflict, and fostering peaceful coexistence. The assembly emphasised that elephants play an important role in maintaining ecological balance and that their protection is a shared responsibility. The occasion encouraged young minds to develop compassion towards wildlife and become responsible stewards of nature, inspiring them to contribute towards a sustainable future.It ended with an oath dedicated to this initiative
