The National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi successfully observed World Yoga Day 2026 at the Plenary Hall, reaffirming its commitment to promoting holistic well-being among students, faculty, and staff.
The session, guided by Ms. Ria Tayal ( Art of living Teacher), introduced participants to various yoga postures, breathing exercises, and meditation techniques aimed at enhancing physical fitness, mental clarity, and emotional balance. An interactive Q&A session further enriched the experience, encouraging participants to incorporate yoga into their daily lives.

NUSRL's Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) successfully organized a Faculty Team Building Programme on 18 June 2026 at the Plenary Hall, bringing together faculty members for an engaging and refreshing experience beyond the classroom.
The session was conducted by Ms. Pranjali Aloni Psychology Trainee from RINPAS, who facilitated a series of interactive activities aimed at strengthening teamwork, communication, and collaboration among faculty members.

The National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi, proudly congratulates Vishal Raj Singh, B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) on securing admission offers from several globally renowned institutions, including the London School of Economics (LSE), the Institute for Law and Finance (ILF) at Goethe University Frankfurt, King's College London (KCL), and Queen Mary University of London (QMUL).
After careful consideration, Vishal has chosen to pursue the LL.M. Finance Programme at the Institute for Law and Finance, Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany, commencing in October 2026.
This remarkable achievement reflects Vishal's academic excellence, perseverance, and commitment to advancing his legal education on the global stage. Guided by the vision and encouragement of Honโble Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Ashok R. Patil, NUSRL continues to promote academic excellence and professional capacity-building in emerging areas of legal education and practice.
Faculty members who successfully completed the 40-Hour Mediation Training Programme conducted by the Mediation and Conciliation Project Committee (MCPC), Supreme Court of India, have become eligible to participate in the Three-Day Advanced Capsule Course aimed at developing Mediation Trainers and strengthening professional expertise in mediation practices.
The programme was enriched by the guidance of distinguished mediation experts, including Mr. Ashok Kumar Ray, Senior Trainer, MCPC, Supreme Court of India, and Mr. Rajesh Dash, Accredited Senior Trainer, MCPC, Supreme Court of India, who shared their valuable insights and extensive experience in mediation, dispute resolution, and capacity building.

After completing his LL.M. in Corporate and Commercial Laws from NUSRL, Ashutosh was awarded a fully funded scholarship to pursue the prestigious LL.M. in Comparative Law, Economics & Finance (CLEF Programme) at the International University College of Turin, Italy.
Demonstrating exceptional academic excellence, he completed the programme with an A+ Grade and Distinction.
Building upon this success, he secured a fully funded doctoral fellowship, including a scholarship and monthly stipend, at the University of Turin, where he is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Institutions and Law. His research focuses on algorithmic governance and the institutional evolution of EU competition law in digital markets, contributing to critical conversations shaping the future of law and technology.

We are pleased to share that Ms. Soni Bhola, Assistant Professor, NUSRL Ranchi, was invited by the National Academy of Direct Taxes (NADT), Nagpur, to deliver sessions on Contract Law for the 79th Batch of IRS Officer Trainees as part of the Induction Course.
The sessions explored the interface between contract law and tax administration, focusing on the interpretation and characterization of contracts in assessment, investigation, and transfer-pricing contexts. Discussions covered employment and consultancy agreements, lease and licence arrangements, business transfer agreements, non-compete clauses, and cross-border licensing and royalty arrangements, with emphasis on developing a practical framework for contract analysis.
We congratulate Ms. Bhola on this academic engagement and her contribution to legal education and capacity-building in tax administration.
