ICAR-IIAB, Ranchi celebrated the International Yoga Day on 21.06.2026 with enthusiastic participation from staff and students under the theme "Yoga for Healthy Ageing." The programme highlighted the importance of yoga in promoting physical fitness, mental well-being, and a healthy lifestyle. The event reaffirmed the commitment towards integrating yoga into daily life for overall wellness.

ICAR-IIAB, Ranchi, along with farmers, witnessed the live launch of the 23rd installment of PM-KISAN, under which more than ₹18,880 crore was directly transferred to over 9.44 crore farmers across the country through DBT, ensuring transparent and timely financial support.

ICAR-IIAB, Ranchi showcased its research and innovative technologies at the Jharkhand Krishi Vyapar Mela (16–18 June 2026) at Morabadi Maidan, Ranchi. The institute's stall highlighted scientific advancements and farmer-centric innovations, engaging farmers and other stakeholders.

The session was delivered by Mr. Ankit Mahapatra, Assistant Commissioner, Commercial Taxes and GST, Government of Odisha. Through his insightful interaction, he guided students on career opportunities, preparation strategies for competitive examinations, interview skills, and professional development, inspiring them to pursue their career goals with confidence and clarity.
