NIAMT Ranchi celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm and deep patriotic spirit. The entire campus was adorned with the splendour of the Tricolour.
The programme began with the flag-hoisting ceremony performed by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Arun Kumar Jha, in front of the main administrative building. As the National Flag was unfurled, the campus resonated with the slogans “Bharat Mata Ki Jai”.
Addressing the gathering of students, faculty members, officers and staff, Prof. Jha extended warm greetings on the occasion of Independence Day. He said that this day is an opportunity to remember the supreme sacrifices made by the brave martyrs who laid down their lives for the freedom of the nation. He emphasised that a self reliant India can be strengthened through education, technology, research and innovation. The Institute, he noted, carries a significant responsibility in the field of advanced manufacturing and innovation, and students must play an active role in the development of the country.
Impressive Cultural Presentations
A large number of students participated in the celebrations. Students presented patriotic songs, dances and short plays, captivating the audience.
At the conclusion of the programme, the Registrar expressed gratitude to all the guests and participants. He remarked that Independence Day is not merely a festival, but also an occasion to reaffirm our duties towards nation building.
The celebrations concluded with the distribution of sweets.
