On April 29, 2026, Professor Ghanshyam Das represented NIAMT Ranchi in a general board meeting of the Jharkhand Council on Science, Technology and Innovation (JCSTI) chaired by Honorable Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Shri Hemant Sorenji at Project Building, Ranchi. The meeting included high-level officials from the higher and technical education department, alongside various departmental representatives and experts. The meeting focused on strengthening research, technology-driven education, and innovation-based development in the state. Honourable Chief Minister urged officials to link science and innovation with practical societal needs and governance. A directive was issued to create a result-oriented action plan to promote research, startups, and innovation within higher and technical institutions. The CM directed the operation of mobile science exhibition buses across all 24 districts to promote scientific awareness. Progress on science centers and planetariums under construction was reviewed, with a focus on ensuring quality and accessibility. Emphasis was placed on integrating mechanical innovations into agriculture to improve productivity.
The meeting aimed to establish a, secure, and future-ready, technology-based ecosystem in Jharkhand.

The Prize Distribution 🎉 Ceremony of Jinks Pranav 2026, the annual techno-cultural fest of NIAMT Ranchi, was a grand celebration of talent, creativity, and hard work.
Students who excelled in technical events like Robo War, Maze Solver, and cultural competitions including dance, music, Nukkad Natak, and more were felicitated amidst cheers and applause.
