Sarala Birla Public School conducted an engaging session of club activities, providing students with a platform to explore creativity, develop practical skills, and experience learning beyond the classroom. Students participated enthusiastically across various clubs. The Carpentry Club created wall hangings with key holders, while the IT & Coding Club designed websites. The Global Partnership Club promoted global awareness through identity design, and eco-focused clubs crafted sustainable art and conducted activities like pebble painting. The Craft Club showcased paper quilling creations.
The Debate, Leadership and Vigilance Club hosted an interactive session encouraging critical thinking, while the Quiz and Heritage Club raised awareness on cultural preservation through posters and slogans. The Satyajit Ray Film Club documented their creative journey through portfolios. Science and communication skills were enhanced through a density experiment by the Science Innovation Club and a radio model by the Media Club. The Life Saving Club educated students on heatstroke management, and the Shramdan Club promoted community service values. Activities under Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat and the Yuva Tourism Club celebrated cultural diversity and local heritage.
The session successfully promoted experiential learning, resulting in improved confidence, creativity, and social awareness among students.
Principal Ms. Manisha Sharma appreciated the initiative and, in her remarks, stated that such club activities resonate strongly with the vision of the National Education Policy 2020, which advocates experiential, multidisciplinary, and skill-oriented learning. She observed that when learning extends beyond textbooks into hands-on experiences, it not only enriches knowledge but also builds essential life skills, creativity, and a strong sense of responsibility among students.

Sarala Birla Public School, Ranchi, organised an engaging Inter-House Quartet Competition, where students presented short theatrical performances in groups of four, bringing together expression, dialogue delivery and stagecraft. The event served as a vibrant platform for students to explore the nuances of performance and storytelling while demonstrating creativity and coordination.
The performances reflected thoughtful scripting, effective use of voice modulation and expressive gestures, as participants seamlessly blended individual roles into a cohesive dramatic presentation. The competition highlighted the importance of theatre as a medium for enhancing confidence, creativity and communication skills among students.
Principal Ms. Manisha Sharma, appreciated the efforts of all participants and noted that such Inter-House activities play a vital role in nurturing teamwork, discipline and self-expression. With immense pride, Sarala Birla Public School, Ranchi released its School Planner for the academic session 2026–27, inspired by the theme ‘STEM for Viksit and Atmanirbhar Bharat’. The planner features student-designed artwork combined with innovation, scientific thinking, and self-reliance. The paintings also depict inspirational scientific concepts, bringing ideas like innovation, sustainability, space exploration, robotics, artificial intelligence, computational thinking and future technologies to life through creative visuals. Each artwork reflects students’ curiosity and understanding of how science shapes the world, while encouraging them to think critically, imagine possibilities, and draw inspiration from real-world advancements.
The planner also showcases fun facts from the fields of science and technology. Serving as a ready reckoner, it will help students plan their academic year and set goals for the session, while reinforcing the school’s commitment to creativity, technological awareness, and holistic learning.

VI secured the Second Runner-Up position at Bharat Ke Gawaiya, a vibrant platform celebrating excellence in music and performing arts. The event, held at Audrey House, Ranchi, witnessed enthusiastic participation from more than 25 students in Junior category.
Prithvi’s performance stood out for its rhythm, expression and confident stage presence, earning him recognition among a competitive field of budding artists. Sarala Birla Public School, Ranchi, commemorated Earth Day with a series of engaging and meaningful activities aimed at fostering environmental awareness and responsible citizenship among students. The celebration witnessed enthusiastic participation across classes, as learners expressed their concern for the planet through creative and reflective platforms.

The activities included badge making, drawing and colouring, glass painting, painting competition, slogan writing competition, and a heartfelt Letter to Mother Earth, allowing students to articulate their thoughts on sustainability and conservation. A special assembly conducted by the Gardening and Eco Club students added depth to the celebration, highlighting the significance of preserving nature and adopting eco-friendly practices. The event also featured an impactful art installation on Climate Change, where students translated pressing global concerns into powerful visual narratives. An engaging Earth Day Quiz was organised to enhance students’ knowledge about environmental issues. As a meaningful green initiative, planters were distributed, encouraging everyone to nurture plants and develop a personal connection with nature.
As a significant highlight of the celebration, students collectively took the Earth Day Pledge, reaffirming their commitment to conserving natural resources, reducing waste, planting trees and adopting sustainable lifestyles. The objective of the celebration was to sensitise students towards environmental issues and encourage them to adopt sustainable habits in their daily lives. Through these diverse activities, students not only showcased creativity but also demonstrated awareness, responsibility and a commitment to protecting the Earth.

Sarala Birla Public School, Ranchi, achieved remarkable success at JurieFiesta 2.0, hosted by Amity Law University, Amity Law School, securing First and Second positions in the Solo Song Competition and Third position in the Group Song Competition among nearly 15 participating schools and colleges of the city.
Prateek Ghosh of Std. XII secured First position in Solo Song, winning a cash prize of ₹3000, while Sanskriti Shashwat of Std. XI secured Second position and won a cash prize of ₹2000, adding individual distinction to the school’s collective achievement. The Group Song team secured Third position along with a cash prize of ₹1000, further highlighting the school’s musical excellence.
The students showcased exceptional musical prowess, delivering performances marked by technical precision, emotive depth and confident stage presence, reflecting both individual brilliance and cohesive teamwork.
