The school enthusiastically observed Innovation Week as per CBSE guidelines, aiming to promote creativity, problem-solving, and future-ready learning. This initiative has been extended into a year-long programme titled โInnovation of the Monthโ, focusing on integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Computational Thinking (CT) across all grades.
During the week, students participated in engaging, hands-on activities. For Nursery to Grade V, activities such as mask making, origami, and fruit printing were designed to introduce computational thinking concepts. Origami helped students follow step-by-step instructions (algorithms), fruit printing explored patterns and symmetry, and mask making encouraged creativity and design thinking.
To ensure continuity, the school will highlight student-led innovations each month. Learners will identify real-life problems and present creative solutions, while teachers will guide and integrate these ideas into classroom learning through interdisciplinary approaches.
A notable student idea was proposed by Advik Shivang (V-E), suggesting weekly student led doubt-clearing sessions to support personalised learning. This reflects computational thinking by identifying learning gaps and offering a structured solution.
Overall, Innovation Week has laid the foundation for a culture of innovation, and the โInnovation of the Monthโ initiative will continue to nurture creativity, critical thinking, and 21st-century skills among students.
