Delhi Public School Ranchi continued its exciting and adventurous educational excursion trip to the picturesque hills of Nainital with great enthusiasm on Day 04 of the camp. The students actively participated in several thrilling and skill-based activities that provided them with unforgettable learning experiences amidst nature.

On 19th May 2026, the students began their day with great energy and excitement at Camp Nainital. After breakfast, the campers enthusiastically participated in adventure activities such as River Crossing and Commando Net under the guidance of trained instructors.

Later, the students embarked on an adventurous trek from the camp to the famous Woodpecker Point. The approximately 7-kilometre trek through scenic forest trails allowed the students to witness the mesmerizing beauty of nature while enhancing their endurance and team spirit. The trekking experience also encouraged the students to appreciate the natural environment and develop a sense of responsibility towards its conservation.

In the evening, the students took part in a unique Survival Cooking session as part of Skill Education. Under supervision, the campers collected wood from the forest and learned the traditional method of cooking food on wood fire. The activity provided practical exposure to survival skills, self-reliance, cooperation, and resource management, making it both educational and enjoyable for the students.

The day concluded with a lively bonfire and music session where students shared joyful moments with their friends and teachers. The vibrant atmosphere filled the camp with laughter, music, and excitement, creating cherished memories for everyone. Dinner was served at the camp followed by an overnight stay amidst the peaceful surroundings of nature.

The educational tour continued with great enthusiasm as the students participated in memorable activities during Day 2 and Day 3 of the excursion.

On 17th May 2026, the group reached Delhi and proceeded towards Camp Nainital Park by bus. Lunch was served en route, after which the students reached Laldungi and were transferred to the camp through jeeps, adding excitement to the journey. Upon arrival at the camp, the students received a warm welcome with refreshments. The day concluded with a delicious dinner at the camp followed by an overnight stay amidst the serene natural surroundings of Camp Nainital.

On 18th May 2026, the students began their day with breakfast at the camp restaurant. The campers then attended a special naturalization and confidence-building session conducted by the Chief Camp Instructor, who introduced the camp philosophy, rules, and provided detailed information about the equipment and adventure activities. The students also enjoyed leisure sessions that encouraged bonding and interaction among the participants.

After lunch at the camp, the students enthusiastically took part in several adventure activities, including the Burma Bridge, Double Rope Bridge, and Ladder Bridge. They also went trekking from Pangot Gaon to Shiv Mandir, where they experienced the beauty of nature. The students further enjoyed thrilling zipline activities and spent joyful moments amidst the serene beauty of a waterfall.

These activities helped the students develop confidence, teamwork, leadership skills, and a spirit of adventure while enjoying the outdoors. In the evening, the students returned to the camp and enjoyed a lively bonfire and music session that filled the atmosphere with joy and excitement. The day concluded with dinner and an overnight stay in tents.

From Delhi, the team proceeded towards Kathgodam, Uttarakhand 🚆🏔️

The excursion promises to be a perfect blend of learning, exploration, bonding, and fun-filled experiences amidst the scenic beauty of Nainital.

The carnival buzzed with energy as students enthusiastically enjoyed attractions such as Melt Down, Wall Climbing, Bungee Jumping, Trampoline, Sun & Moon Ferry Wheel, Animal Kingdom Jumping Ride, Mickey Mouse Jumping Ride, Water Roller, Toy Train, Human Foosball and Football Dart. 🎠🚂⚽🎯

Adding to the excitement was a specially curated Games Zone, which drew young learners towards entertaining and interactive challenges like Hit the Can, Coin in the Bucket, Mini Basketball, Tossing the Ring, Bowling and Feed the Clown. These fun-filled games not only brought smiles and laughter but also encouraged participation, coordination and teamwork among the children. 🏀🎳🤹‍♂️✨

The beautifully designed Creativity Corner emerged as another major attraction, allowing students to explore their imaginative side through Nail Art, Tattoo Art and 360° Selfie activities. The colourful setup gave children the freedom to express themselves creatively while capturing precious memories with their friends. 🎨📸💅🌈

The carnival also introduced an adventurous dimension through the Rope Activity Section, featuring exciting challenges such as Burma Bridge, Commando Net, Ladder Walk, Tyre Climbing and Balancing activities. These experiences helped students develop confidence, balance and physical coordination in a safe, enjoyable and encouraging environment. 🧗‍♂️🌟

Delhi Public School Ranchi successfully concluded its week-long Summer Camp 2026 organised for the students of Classes III to IX from 7th May to 14th May 2026. The grand closing ceremony of the camp was held today at the Vivekananda Auditorium of the school campus in the gracious presence of the Honourable Principal, Dr. Jaya Chauhan. The programme commenced with a melodious Welcome Song presented by the school choir, followed by a sapling presentation by the students to the Honourable Principal as a gesture of gratitude and environmental awareness.

The ceremony further featured an impressive Yoga Presentation by the students, showcasing discipline, flexibility, and the importance of a healthy lifestyle. Students also enthusiastically shared their experiences of the summer camp and expressed how the various activities helped them enhance their creativity, confidence, teamwork, and communication skills. Adding to the excitement, a short video presentation highlighting memorable moments and activities conducted during the camp was screened before the audience, receiving huge appreciation from everyone present.

The programme also witnessed the distribution of certificates to the participants in recognition of their active and enthusiastic involvement throughout the camp. Addressing the gathering, Principal Dr. Jaya Chauhan appreciated the students and teachers for making the Summer Camp 2026 highly successful and enriching. In her address, she stated that summer camps provide students with an excellent platform to explore their talents, learn new skills, and develop confidence beyond academics. Following her inspiring address, the Honourable Principal inaugurated the Art and Craft Exhibition put up by the students, which beautifully displayed their creativity, imagination, and artistic talent developed during the camp. The exhibition received immense appreciation from the attendees. The programme concluded with a formal Vote of Thanks followed by the National Anthem. Breakfast was later arranged for all participants and guests in the auditorium basement, marking a joyful and memorable conclusion to the Summer Camp 2026 at DPS Ranchi.

DPS Ranchi Achieves Remarkable Success in CBSE Class XII Board Examination 2026

Continuing its glorious tradition of academic excellence, Delhi Public School Ranchi once again delivered an outstanding performance in the CBSE Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) 2026. The students of the school showcased exceptional dedication and perseverance, bringing laurels to the institution with their excellent results.

The school topper, Riyan Sarda from the Humanities Stream, etched a remarkable milestone by securing 99.6 % marks in the English plus Best Four Subjects.

Among the stream-wise achievers, Shivanshi Sharma emerged as the topper of the Science Stream with 99.2 %, while Anvesha Saboo secured the top position in the Commerce Stream by obtaining 98.6 %.

The overall result statistics further reflects the school’s academic brilliance and consistency. Out of a total of 767 students who appeared for the examination:

127 students secured 95% and above
362 students secured 90% and above
555 students secured 85% and above
159 students achieved a perfect score of 100 marks in various subjects.

Under the visionary leadership of Principal Dr. Jaya Chauhan, Delhi Public School Ranchi has taken another significant step towards promoting cleanliness, hygiene, and a healthy learning environment by installing a mechanized floor cleaning machine and a commercial vacuum cleaner on the school campus. The initiative has been undertaken with the objective of achieving the sanitation goals of the institution and ensuring a cleaner, safer, and more hygienic atmosphere for students, teachers, and staff members.
The newly installed machines are equipped with modern cleaning technology that will help maintain cleanliness across classrooms, corridors, halls, and other common areas of the school in an efficient and time-saving manner.

The mechanized floor cleaning machine will ensure deep and effective cleaning of large floor areas, while the commercial vacuum cleaner will assist in removing dust and maintaining better indoor hygiene standards.

The initiative will also greatly support the housekeeping and sanitation staff engaged in cleanliness activities on the campus. The use of modern equipment will reduce manual strain, improve work efficiency, save time, and enable the staff to carry out their responsibilities more effectively and comfortably.
