On 15 August 2026, Acharyakulam, Ranchi came alive in the vibrant colours of patriotism, culture, courage and youthful energy as we celebrated the 80th Independence Day of our beloved nation.

Vande Mataram filled the air…
The March Past echoed discipline and pride…
And the entire campus came together with one hear , the heart of a proud India!

The celebration unfolded into a spectacular showcase of our students' talent, confidence and creativity. From our adorable little ones to our Senior Secondary stars, every performance added a new colour to the canvas of the nation.

The blessings of Swami Ji and the inspiring address by our Principal Sir made the occasion even more meaningful, reminding us that freedom brings with it the responsibility to serve, to lead with integrity and to build a better tomorrow.

From tradition to talent, from discipline to dreams, our students beautifully showcased the spirit of an India that is confident, diverse and unstoppable.

As the Tricolour fluttered proudly above us, one message resonated through every heart:

Activity: Handprint of Indian Flag

As part of the Independence Day celebrations, a handmade painting activity was conducted for the students of Class Uday D. The activity aimed to encourage patriotism, creativity and artistic expression among the young learners.
The students were encouraged to create colourful paintings based on the theme of Independence Day. They used crayons, sketch pens and other art materials to make drawings depicting the National Flag, patriotic symbols and other elements related to our country.
The children participated with great enthusiasm and excitement. The activity provided them with an opportunity to express their love for the nation through art while developing their imagination, creativity and fine motor skills.
The handmade paintings were displayed in the classroom, creating a colourful and patriotic learning environment. The activity was thoroughly enjoyed by all the students and made the Independence Day celebration meaningful and engaging.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
After completing the Independence Day handmade painting activity, students were able to:
* Develop creativity and imagination through art.
* Express their love and respect for the nation.
* Recognise and use national symbols, especially the Indian National Flag.
* Improve fine motor skills through colouring, drawing and painting.
* Develop hand-eye coordination and concentration.
* Learn to work with confidence and enthusiasm.
* Appreciate the importance of Independence Day in an age-appropriate way.
* Develop a sense of pride, unity and belonging towards the country.

Shakti & Swaraj | Thematic Students Initiative

The Senior Secondary Wing of Acharyakulam, Ranchi organised an inspiring thematic assembly on “Shakti & Swaraj” on 13 August 2026, celebrating the spirit of freedom, courage, sacrifice and national pride.

The assembly commenced with the soulful chanting of Om and Mantras, followed by engaging presentations and powerful performances highlighting the significance of India’s freedom struggle.

A stirring skit on the legendary tribal freedom fighters Sidhu and Kanhu Murmu brought alive their courage, sacrifice and fearless resistance, reminding everyone of the invaluable contribution of tribal heroes to India’s freedom movement. Students also presented an impactful skit on the importance of Independence and a meaningful presentation on Adhyatmik Jeevan and Bhagavad Gita, highlighting the values of inner strength, duty and righteous action.

The assembly was further enriched by the inspiring words of Swamiji, who blessed the students and encouraged them to embrace courage, strength of character and noble values.

Principal Sir, in his address, motivated the students to remember the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and reminded them that true freedom comes with responsibility, discipline and commitment towards the nation.

The assembly concluded with Vande Mataram and Shanti Path, leaving everyone with a renewed sense of patriotism and responsibility.

Remembering the sacrifices of our heroes, valuing our freedom, and carrying forward the spirit of Swaraj.

Thematic Assembly | Anti-Nuclear Day

The Senior Secondary Wing of Acharyakulam, Ranchi observed Anti-Nuclear Day through a meaningful and thought-provoking thematic assembly, highlighting the devastating consequences of nuclear warfare and the importance of choosing peace and humanity.

The assembly commenced with the chanting of Om, followed by the Gayatri Mantra, Thought for the Day, and an insightful presentation on the tragic events of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Through speeches, presentations,Skit, performances, and student testimonials, the students reflected on the importance of peace, compassion, responsible choices, and respect for human life.

Principal Sir congratulated the students for their sincere efforts and impactful presentation. He also addressed the students on the devastating consequences of nuclear warfare and emphasised the importance of promoting peace, harmony, and humanity.

Wushu Award Ceremony
The assembly also witnessed the felicitation of our talented Wushu achievers. The awardees were honoured for their dedication, discipline, perseverance, and commendable performance, inspiring their peers to strive for excellence in both academics and co-curricular pursuits.

The assembly concluded with the National Song and Shanti Path, leaving everyone with a profound reminder that humanity must always choose peace over destruction.
