Artificial intelligence (AI) makes it possible for machines to learn from experience, adjust to new inputs and perform human-like tasks. Most AI examples that you hear about today – from chess-playing computers to self-driving cars – rely heavily on deep learning and natural language processing. Artificial Intelligence can provide humans a great relief from doing various repetitive tasks. The technology can learn the work once and repeat it as many as desired by its human programmer. Automation of different tasks reduces the workload from dull and repetitive tasks.

We all are familiar with the end products of AI, be it in the form of Alexa, Siri, Google Assistant, or whatsoever. Also, the word "Artificial Intelligence", sounds a bit cool, but do we know, what exactly does this mean? Do we know, what exactly it consists of, or how it works? Maybe, for most of us, it is a no.

Take out a moment of your time, to get yourself introduced to a very essential component of AI, that is "Machine Learning".

Machine Learning, as the name suggests, is a process wherein the machine tries to learn something, and then make predictions on its own, based on the previous learnings.

Consider a very simple example to understand the same. Lets say, you need to build a face mask detector, wherein the system detects, if a person is wearing a mask or not. So, the machine can be fed with the images of, say 1000 people wearing a mask, and 1000 people, not wearing a mask. So, the system observes each and every photograph and comes up with an algorithm, to figure out if a person is wearing a mask or not, and hence is able to make a prediction based on the previously created algorithm.
