The has Begun & at the Dawn of Intelligence
’s Watson – The Next Superhero of Cybercrime?
IMB’s Watson made in 2011,originally the cognitive computing system was designed to take large, unstructured datasets in the English language & pull answers to queries out of that data.
Watson has evolved to work on “Large Data Sets Looking for Patterns”, rather than the answer to a specific question. With large quantities of data the speed of using augmented intelligence is impressive.
a Doctor may read about 6 Medical Research Papers in 1 month, can Read Half A Million in circa 15 seconds.
So through Learning can suggest Diagnoses & Advice on a course of treatment.
Watson is now working to solve cybercrime, Watson Cyber security Beta Program now helps 40 organizations to use the computer’s cognitive power to help spot cybercrime.
Currently, cyber security operations require a human to go through alerts of potentially malicious activity – a repetitive and time-consuming process.
computing is 30-40% faster than traditional rule-based systems & results in fewer false positives. AI can understand Malware & fraudulent activity patterns, which is something that will help cyber security professionals’ level in the fight against hackers.
Squared (AI2): MIT Researchers created a virtual AI analyst.
AI Squared (AI2), is able to detect 85% of attacks – roughly 3 times better than current benchmarks – and also reduces the number of false positives by a factor of five, according to MIT.
AI2 was tested using 3.6 billion log lines generated by over 20 million users in a period of 3 months. Anything which flagged up as unusual was then presented to a human operator and feedback was issued.
Learning : Many companies using Machine Learning to fight Hacking & cybercrime, and they are also who wish to take use of Learning.
Instinct (Israeli firm) claims to being the First Company to apply Deep Learning to cyber security.
Deep Instinct aims to detect previously unknown malicious threats, the sorts of attacks that might otherwise slip through the net, because they’re too new to be noticed. It’s simple for malicious software developers to enable their creations to evade detection, as slight modification of the code can make it unrecognizable, but with Deep Learning that will be much more difficult.

Can anyone in education or govt. sector reply honestly that we have thousands of engineering and other higher technical colleges and universities in our country but are these engineers or Professionals or future managers are capable enough as The Cyber Criminals on the other side of this “ one sided –cyber warfare ??? “
Are we teaching good, teaching enough? And is our Technical Teachers or Professors are himself educated enough to teach our new generation professionals or new age managers???
Is there any specific govt. machinery or college or university or trainings that could 1% save us save our Country’s economy
Are We Combat Ready for our country @ ??? With or Without Artificial Intelligence & Robotics:
Especially in India & in under developed/poor countries; There is huge shortage of Cyber security Professionals with the skills to fight the Increasing Sophistication & Expertise of Cyber criminals.
Security Unemployment Rate has dropped to 0 % , and cyber security jobs will reach 1.5 million by 2019. Are we ready? Are we updated? Few Online Shops are there with lucrative packages and more fancy design with a skull or a Hacker with codes flowing his back or hooded ; but does these shops will do us any good , good for our country ???
Time is when we should and must harness techniques based on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning Deep Learning etc.
These are the same tools which Cyber criminals are using to target us all ,including everything.
A more rationale AI – A Specially Programmed “AI”, can ‘THINK’ about Cyber Security in more complex detail than a Human.
Is teaching with good teachers or syllabus in AI or everything else in
Cyber Security is enough to handle all these and future problems that will gradually come to us?

of millions of databases hosted in the cloud, shows how cloud attacks have become a reality and are likely to increase in 2017 & onwards.
: Ransomware is malicious software designed to block access to a computer system, until a sum of money is paid. Increasingly, ransom payments are requested via Bitcoin, an untraceable online currency.
Wright, GM at Cyber Skills Centre, predicts the threat posed by ransom ware will only get worse: “Recently, the most prevalent attacks have been ransom ware-based.
In the coming 12 months, these will likely have greater sophistication & possibly move to also targeting households, individuals, & mobile devices”.
RSA, has confirmed that 60% of fraud transaction come from a mobile device hence , mobile fraud will rapidly grow, especially as banks & retailers serve their customers via mobile apps.
authentication as in fingerprint, voice, and eyeprint, combined with risk-based transaction monitoring, will be the predominant technology combinations for authentication and fraud management in mobile devices.
Thumb Rule: Whatever Happens in future, one thing is certain: Any Businesses Worldwide of All sizes will need to have security strategies in place if they want to protect their assets and continue business.
Personal Attacks : stalking : distributing po*******hy, trafficking and “grooming”.

security has always been and will always be one step behind Cyber Crime
Attacks are a Flourishing Business indeed and Why not?
, online money transfer and bill pay services account for approximately 1 in 5 e-commerce fraud transactions, followed by the hospitality and airline, electronics, jewellery, fashion, entertainment and gaming industries.
Also Any Religious Festivals are also a good season for targeting these customers as “CLIENTS “
estimates that by 2020 4 billion people will be online – twice the number that is now.
Bank Heists: 2016 was a year of increased intensity, featuring multi-million dollar virtual bank heists. Cyber criminals mainly targeted bank customers, raiding accounts or stealing credit cards.
group stole $81 million from Bangladesh’s central bank by exploiting weaknesses in the bank’s security, infiltrating its network, stealing its SWIFT credentials, allowing them to make fraudulent transactions.
Espionage: Targeted to destabilize, disrupt organizations and countries.
/ Cyber terrorism: it can cause chaos and panic amongst citizens. The perpetrators may be terrorist organizations or hostile governments of other countries.
One country attacks another; this is so called Spying on Business economy.
# Disk-wiping malware was used against targets in Ukraine in January and again in December, attacks which also resulted in power cuts in 2016.
of Things (IoT): Any device can be connected to an on-off switch to the internet, from our headphones to our washing machines.
Success of Amazon Echo & Google Home demonstrates that IoT is the future for technology in the home. as the IoT grows & the no. of connected devices increases, Related Hacking will also escalate.
96% of Senior Business Leaders will be using IoT by 2020 and, at the moment, this is one of the weakest areas in terms of security.
to 200 Billion IoT devices will need security by 2020.

Can Artificial Intelligence & Robots Fight the Cybercrime Epidemic?
“Cybercrime is the Greatest Threat to Every Company in the World” : Ginni Rometty, IBM’s chairman, President & CEO.
of Cybercrime will hit $6 trillion Annually by 2021, up from $3 trillion just a year ago: csoonline.com.
Attacks Economy and Impact on Business & Citizens
1. 43% of cyber attacks target small businesses
2. 75% of Business org. with no cyber insurance.
3. Average of $879,582 spent because of Damage/ IT theft
4. Additional $955,429. for disruption to normal operations costs
5. 60% of small companies go out of business within six months of a cyber attack.
6. Business email compromise (BEC) scams: Based on carefully composed spear-phishing emails caused over $3 billion of theft in the past 3 years.
7. Attackers are demanding more and more from victims with the average ransom demand in 2016 rising to $1,077, up from $294 a year earlier.
8. As the scope for in-person fraud diminishes, card-not-present (CNP) fraud is expected to soar to over $7 billion in the U.S. by 2020.

Intelligence Cyber Attacks Are Coming………….
The next major Cyber Attack could involve Artificial intelligence systems. \
Artificial intelligence will make existing cyber attack efforts – things like identity theft, denial-of-service attacks and password cracking – more powerful and more efficient. This is dangerous enough – this type of hacking can steal money, cause emotional harm and even injure or kill people. Larger attacks can cut power to hundreds of thousands of people, shut down hospitals and even affect national security.
