Vikas Public School students proudly participated in the Jharkhand Gaurav Yatra, beautifully organised by Dainik Jagran as part of the grand celebration of Jharkhand’s 25th Foundation Day.

Surrounded by music, colours, and chants of unity, our students experienced what true culture and togetherness feel like. They joyfully danced to the beats of traditional songs, spreading smiles and showcasing the vibrant spirit of Jharkhand. From waving flags to walking beside local communities, every moment was filled with energy, excitement, and emotion.

This Yatra wasn’t just a march — it was a heartfelt lesson in love for our land, respect for our heritage, and pride in being a part of Jharkhand’s glorious story.

🗣️ Mock Parliament 2025 – Voice of the Future Leaders! 🏛️

On 17th and 19th of July, the students of Classes IX to XII stepped into the shoes of real policymakers as they participated in the much-awaited Mock Parliament Session 2025! From thought-provoking debates to solution-oriented discussions, the young delegates showcased impressive articulation, leadership, and awareness of national concerns.

The house echoed with passionate speeches on topics such as: 📌 Operation Sindoor – India's stand against terrorism
📌 Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan – Steps towards a cleaner India
📌 Privatization of PSUs – Boon or Bane?

A Memorable Educational Journey to IIM Ranchi!

Our students had the incredible opportunity to visit the esteemed Indian Institute of Management Ranchi, and it was truly an inspiring and eye-opening experience. From the moment we stepped onto the campus, we were welcomed with warmth, enthusiasm, and a spirit of learning that was contagious.

The visit included a guided campus tour, interactive sessions with faculty and students, and insightful discussions on leadership, innovation, and higher education. It offered our students a rare glimpse into life at one of India’s top B-schools and helped them understand the value of vision, dedication, and continuous learning.

This exposure not only broadened their academic horizons but also sparked new aspirations and dreams. We are immensely grateful to IIM Ranchi for their hospitality and for creating such an enriching experience for our students.

Vikas Public School, Pundag hosted the Inter-House Chess competition to provide a platform to its students to improve their logical thinking, analytical reasoning and problem-solving. Young budding students from Grades 3rd to 11th participated in the Inter-House Chess Competition on 8th of January 2025 and showed their talent by performing with excellence. It was indeed quite heart-warming to see the children playing their moves with full concentration.

Vikas Public School always endeavours to provide the holistic educational opportunities for the learners. Keeping this in mind Vikas Public School organised 'Food Etiquettes Activity ' in the school campus on 3rd of December for the students of classes Pre-primary to Std-II. In this activity the teachers taught the students basic food eating manners, meanwhile students learnt about healthy and unhealthy food also. It was a day of enjoyment as well as learning for the students. They all gathered in the play ground and ate their lunch with their friends. Let childhood remain a cherished memory in the hearts and souls of all. Children are invaluable treasures, and childhood is the happiest period of life. Vikas Public School in Ranchi celebrated Children’s Day 2024 with immense enthusiasm and excitement. Special assemblies were held for all grades , featuring a group song, and various dance performances given by all the teachers to make this event memorable and joyful. Overall, the event was a tremendous success, bringing joy and laughter to our school.

*Diwali is the festival of positivity,light, love and togetherness.*
To celebrate this beautiful festival *Vikas Public School* organised Diwali celebration in the school campus on 30th October .All the students and teachers came along and celebrated Diwali with enthusiasm .
Students showed their creativity by decorating the diyas and thalis,the senior section made mesmerizing home decor items, archway and rangoli.
At the end the tiny tots of the school bursted crackers and enjoyed this beautiful day.

Vikas Public School, Ranchi always endeavours towards the holistic progress of the learners by providing different platforms for their all-around development. Games and sports are an important segment of our entire school curriculum. The thrilling Inter-House volleyball tournament of Senior Groups were held, today, in our school playground. The matches began after a formal introduction and toss. The final whistle blew amidst loud cheers from the spectators, highlighting a day of exceptional sportsmanship and dedication from all participants. Mrs Anshu Tiwari , our Principal and director Mr. Sanjay Kumar congratulated all the players and encouraged them to remain fit. Mr.Aditya , our sports teacher coordinated the entire event with a team of Teachers of our school.
