Dharitri Kala Kendra Born in the year 1986, Dharitri Kala Kendra is a leading Kathak Dance institute in Jharkhand.

Established by the Kathak exponent and founder director Late Manju Malkani, the institute aims to preserve and promote Kathak and the regional folk arts in their true form and nurture the same. Currently headed by her daughter Gargi Malkani and senior disciple Malobika Mukherjee, the centre offers several comprehensive courses in kathak dance. In addition, the centre patronises a production unit c

omprising of trained artists with the objective to enrich the repertoire and technique of Kathak through experimental innovations. Dharitri Kala Kendra has produced a number of artists and stands as a premier Kathak institute in Ranchi and a gurukul of the contemporary period that focuses in strengthening the connection with our own roots,
cultural values and heritage.
