The “Nityaranjan Mondal Memorial Award” is dedicated to the memory of late Sri Nityaranjan Mondal, a patron of education who devoted tirelessly more than thirty years in teaching and inspiring a lot. As a primary school teacher he used to build a strong foundation of education among students that precedes many to become ideal citizen. Dr. Nandan Kumar Mondal takes this novel venture to sponsor the awards which will be awarded every year for two boys and two girls standing first in Madhyamik and Higher Secondary Examination in Rampurhat locality.
