9th Standard
Experiment - Osmosis
The students of class 9 explored the movement solvent molecules .
osmosis is the movement of water molecules from a solution with a high concentration of water molecules to a solution with a lower concentration of water molecules, through a cell's partially permeable membrane.

Purpose: To determine the biological changes that occurs over a period of time in different solutions and to relate these changes to osmosis and diffusion.

Result: the chips gained mass in water and low sugar concentrations but lost mass in high concentrations of sugar.

Hustle Bustle all around the campus pompously exhibited the spirit of Diwali which is just round the corner. Day witnessed an onflow of such zeal and energy by our patrons. Be it tiny tots who made amazing origami artifacts and gorgeous greeting cards, or not so small ones who used their creativity and out of box ideas to make the best out of waste material. Jewellery making, Diya decoration, candle making, were a few of the affairs. While the seniors were no less. They sweated arduously for Poster making, traditional Thali and Toran decoration and Rangoli making.
All in all it was a clean, green and eco-friendly celebration.
Our young gems proved this saying from Bhagwad Gita: ' Light the lamp of Wisdom, Dispel the darkness of ignorance.’
