🚴‍♂️ THE MOMENTUM CONTINUES! 🚴‍♀️

Our "Sundays on Cycle" campaign is growing bigger and better! Today marks the successful completion of our 2nd Sunday, and the energy was absolutely electric!

We are so proud to share that around 100 students, along with our dedicated teachers and management team, hit the road today from our Purani Bazar Campus to Gola Bazar, Harinagar and return with same route. Pedaling together under the Fit India Movement India Movement, the Friends Academy family is proving that fitness and environmental awareness go hand-in-hand.

Seeing the massive turnout and the bright smiles on our students' faces shows that this is no longer just an event—it's a movement for a healthier lifestyle and a greener tomorrow! 🌱

🚴‍♂️ Pedaling Towards a Healthier Tomorrow! 🌱

We are absolutely thrilled to announce the grand success of our very first event at Friends Academy!

Organized proudly under the Fit India Movement (Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports), this special initiative was launched to promote the incredible benefits of cycling. It is not just about staying physically fit and active; it is also our step towards building a greener, pollution-free environment. 🌍💪

🚵‍♀️ The Journey:
Our energetic riders completed an exciting approx 8 km route! The journey kicked off from the Purani Bazar Campus, pedaled through Narainapur and Sonkhar, reached the Barwa Banjariya Campus, and looped all the way back with unmatched enthusiasm. 🏁

Highlights & Shoutouts:
The event was officially flagged off by our Headmaster, Mr. Purushottam Jhunjhunwala, alongside our esteemed Founder Members, Mr. Sushil Chhapoliya and Mr. Sadakant Shukla.

A special thanks to our Directors, Mr. Pulkit Jhunjhunwala and Mr. Bhushan Jhunjhunwala, for their motivating presence. We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated teachers—Govind Mishra, Deepak Mishra, Jitendra Giri, Ravi Kumar, Amit Kumar, Krishnamohan Kumar, Anand Mishra, Ravindra Mishra, Atul Pathak and others—for their fantastic support in managing the event smoothly.

Today was a very special day at **Friends Academy (Barwa Banjariya Campus)**! In a wonderful initiative supported by the **VTR Ramnagar Range & Forest Department**, we organized a Sapling Distribution Drive to promote environmental conservation. 🍃

**Highlights of the day:**

* Around 200 enthusiastic students received fruit-bearing and shade-giving saplings like Guava, Amla, Jamun, and Mahogany!
* Our students took a heartfelt pledge to plant these saplings at home and take care of them.
* Forest officials and our school directors shared inspiring words on the importance of saving our environment and maintaining ecological balance.

Handing a plant to a child isn't just about planting a tree; it's about handing over the responsibility of a greener future to the next generation. Let's make our planet beautiful together! 🤝🌲

Proud to take a stand for a healthier future! 🚫🚭

Today, in Radha Devi Memorial Hall at Purani Bazar Campus of our school proudly organized a Sankalp Sabha (Pledge Ceremony) to join the impactful 'Nashe Ke Viruddh Yuddh' (War Against Drugs) campaign initiated by Dainik Jagran.

Our students and teachers came together in one voice to take the solemn oath (Sankalp Patra). We pledged to:
✅ Never consume any form of intoxicants and discourage others from doing so.
✅ Spread awareness among our families, friends, and society about the severe physical, mental, and social ill effects of addiction.
✅ Actively contribute to building a healthy, empowered, and completely drug-free society.

It is incredibly inspiring to see our youth taking the lead and raising their voices against this social evil, just as featured in today's Dainik Jagran coverage across the district. Together, we can make a difference! 🤝
