The institution is affiliated to the COUNCIL FOR INDIAN SCHOOL CERTIFICATE EXAMINATION, NEW DELHI and it prepares students for class X(ICSE) exams. The school came into existence, as a translation of the vision of Dr. R.P. GUHA, the founder of the school. His untiring efforts have been the result of the school growing from a humble beginning to the HIGH SCHOOL. He set up this school as an institution for imparting education to the Indian youth on public School lines against an Indian background. The school presents a happy blend of the ancient Indian culture and the modern progressive trends of schooling its qualitative standards. The School emphasises on education being more comprehensive and involves students in class activities. It means to study different subjects with full understanding. The School provides many opportunities to the students to develop their hideen talent. The academic standards are best measured by the Board Examination results of the Xth standard. Before in School got affiliated to the Council, the School prepared students for the Matriculation Examination with English as the medium of examination of the BIHAR SCHOOL SECONDARY BOARD. The threo batchos that passed out showed very excellent results (100%). today the School is proud that many of its students are doctors, engineers, L.A.S. & I.P.S. Officers.. Site: PATRATU SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS is situated in a picturesque surroundings of the PATRATU VALLEY, in the CHHOTANAGPUR PLATEAU. The smilling dawns and glorious sunsets turn the School into an idyllic site at all times of the day and night. The first rays of the morning sun kiss the site and when twilight has already fallen on the valley, the school still bathes in the lingering golden rays of the setting sun. The atmosphere is calm, peaceful and inspiring and the climate salubrious. . (N.B.) The school does have its own bus with the facility of hostel for Boys only
