The Colloquio 145 of Chitkara University Toastmasters Club was held on June 23rd, 2020.

The Colloquio was started by TM Priyanshi Mehrotra, TMOD by throwing light on the theme - "It's Okay to be Different". She described the significance of being different from others, and why we should be prideful about being different.

Moving on, the Prepared Speakers TM Aastha, TM Abhinav, TM Gatish, TM Aarjav, TM Himanshu, and TM Raghav delivered their speeches. All the topics were beautifully chosen.

In the next part of the Colloquio, Table Topics Session was conducted in a very unique and interactive way by TM Suraj, TTMOD. Everyone enjoyed the session very well.

Then, Evaluations were conducted by the Evaluators. The General Evaluator, TM Zeenat, and the Grammarian, TM Devansh gave their valuable assessments and then TM Muskan, Timer and Ah-counter of the day presented her reports.

The meeting was bestowed with the presence of Ms. Sovia RJ Singh, Dean, Chitkara University Language Centre and TM Subhash Arora from Panchkula Toastmasters Club. TM Subhash Arora also took a role of an individual evaluator. In the end, the Faculty Advisors, Mr. Ishant Pahuja and Ms. Ashna Ghai gave their valuable feedbacks to the students.

The Colloquio concluded with TM Aastha, being the Best Speaker; TM Mudita, being the Best Evaluator; TM Subhash, being the Best Table Topics Speakers, and TM Zeenat bagged the Best Role Player Award as General Evaluator.

Thus, leading to a successful conclusion to the Colloquio.

The Colloquio 144 of Chitkara University Toastmasters Club was held on June 5th, 2020.

The Colloquio was started by TM Aarjav Luna, TMOD by throwing light on the theme - "Music: The strongest form of Magic". He described how music is God's greatest gift and how our lives are unimaginable without it. He told how music is the ultimate concoction of all the feelings.

Moving on, the Prepared Speakers TM Devansh, TM Ashlee, TM Muskan, TM Swabhi and TM Taranjot delivered their speeches. All the topics were beautifully chosen.

In the next part of the Colloquio, Table Topics Session was conducted in a very unique and interactive way by TM Aarjav, TTMOD. Everyone enjoyed the session very well.

Then, Evaluations were conducted by the Evaluators. The General Evaluator and the Grammarian, TM Abhinav gave his valuable assessments and then TM Suraj, Timer and Ah-counter of the day presented his reports.

The meeting was bestowed with the presence of Faculty Advisor, Mr. Ishant Pahuja, who addressed the theme. He told how music helps us when we are feeling low. He described how music is analogous to God. In the end, he dedicated a lovely song to the Toastmasters.

The Colloquio concluded with TM Devansh, being the Best Speaker; TM Aastha, being the Best Evaluator; TM Himanshu, being the Best Table Topics Speakers and TM Aarjav bagged the Best Role Player Award as TMOD & TTMOD.

The Colloquio 143 of Chitkara University Toastmasters Club was held on May 29th, 2020.

The Colloquio was started by TM Zeenat Thind, TMOD by throwing light on the theme -"Recipe of a Happy Life". She described that life is nothing, but a palatable dish; whose main ingredients are : smile, laughter, mistakes, hurdles and acceptance.

Moving on, the Prepared Speakers TM Aastha, TM Gurnoor, TM Priyanshi, TM Sanjana, TM Aarjav and TM Himanshu delivered their speeches. All the topics were beautifully chosen.

In the next part of the Colloquio, Table Topics Session was conducted in a very unique and interactive way by TM Abhinav, TTMOD. Everyone enjoyed the session very well.

The Colloquio 142 of Chitkara University Toastmasters Club was held on May 8, 2020.

“Time Travel : Into the Cartoon world”, was the theme chosen by the TMOD, TM Aastha and she took everyone back in 2006 where all the different characters from the Cartoon world had gathered to share their exciting stories.

Moving on, the Prepared Speakers delivered their creative speeches. TM Varanjeet, Shinchan for the day, delivered his speech on ‘Loopholes’ expressing his notorious character. He was evaluated by his younger sister, Himawari, TM Mudita. Next came the dearest duo who depicted true meaning of friendship, Tom and Jerry. TM Abhinav enacted as Tom (Meow) and TM Gatish playing as Jerry made sure that Tom didn’t bother him anymore if he wanted his evaluation. TM Muskan played a modern Nobita who took us into the future and showcased her perspective of the rising importance of Capitalism through her speech entitled, ‘The other reason’. She was evaluated by her dear friend, Doraemon, played by TM Taranjot who brought the evaluation sheet as a gadget for his friend. The next speaker was TM Gatish who delivered his speech on ‘Lucid Dreams’ while enacting Ash Ketchum. He was evaluated by Brock, TM Taranjot Singh. Then, TM Zeenat, enacting Kick Buttowski, gave her speech on "I am a born speaker", who was evaluated by her best friend Gunther, TM Abhinav Huria.

In the next part of the Colloquio, Table Topics Session was conducted on the topic, ‘Arguments’ by TM Ashlee, TTMOD playing Buttercup for the day.
Everyone enjoyed the session very well.

Then, TM Swabhi, the General Evaluator enacting Princess Belle and TM Aarjav Luna, the Grammarian playing Detective Conan gave their valuable assessments and then TM Sidharath, Timer and Ah-counter of the day presented his reports.

In the end, the faculty advisor, Ms. Ashna Ghai, playing the role of Fairy God Mother, addressed the students.

The Colloquio concluded with TM GATISH MEHTA being the Best Speaker, TM MUSKAN being the Best Table Topics Speaker, TM MUDITA being the Best Evaluator and TM AASTHA being the Toastmaster of the day bagged the Best Role Player Award.

Thus leading to a successful conclusion to the Colloquio.

The Colloquio 141 of Chitkara University Toastmasters Club was held on May 4th, 2020.

The Colloquio was started by TM Priyanshi Mehrotra, TMOD by throwing light on the theme -"Make Hay while the Sun shines". She told how Life provides us with a plethora of opportunities, time to time. We should grab them, before they vanish and take full advantage of them, in the right circumstances.

The Colloquio was started by TM Devansh Bansal, TMOD by throwing light on the theme - "Your Attitude, not Aptitude determines Your Altitude". He described how, to be successful in any area of life, you need to have the right attitude, which means you have to approach any task or job with determination, tenacity and above all plenty of enthusiasm.

The Colloquio was started by TM Ashlee, TMOD by throwing light on the theme - “Daydreaming". She described the meaning of daydreaming : A 'Daydream' is a series of pleasant thoughts about something one would prefer to be doing or something one would like to achieve in the future.

Moving on, the Prepared Speakers TM Zeenat, TM Gatish, TM Devansh and TM Aarjav delivered their speeches. All the topics were beautifully chosen.

In the next part of the Colloquio, Table Topics Session was conducted in a very unique and interactive way by TM Vaibhav, TTMOD. Everyone enjoyed the session very well.

The colloquio was bestowed with the presence of Rupinder
