Dr. Partha Sarathi Ganguli founded the organization in 2003 with the aim of propagating education among the children of rural areas. The primary goal is to strive towards creating Equal Educational Opportunities for All. Jyotirmoy Education and Welfare Foundation has been able to expand itself with its various initiatives like Jyotirmoy Public School, Sonarpur, Oodlabari, and Park Circus. Apart from providing education at the school level, Jyotirmoy group is also involved in establishing institutions for higher education with the aim to enrich the vocational capabilities of the students and have established Jyotirmoy School of Education, Jyotirmoy School of Law, Jyotirmoy Private Industrial Training Institute and Saraswati School of Nursing. Jyotirmoy Shishu Vihar, the primary section has its presence in Ghasiara, Hotar, Minakhan, Canning, and Ramchandrapur and is soon setting its steps in new locations. A glorious journey of 20+ years has established Jyotirmoy as a brand to reconnect within the field of education particularly under CBSE board and has been steadily churning out competent professionals from its higher educational institutions. Located in sylvan surrounding near to Sundarbans in the suburbs of Kolkata, Jyotirmoy Public School, one of the few schools in entire West Bengal who are actively connected globally.
