๐ธ The Samaritans from Jyotirmoy | A Lesson in Humanity ๐ธ
โItโs not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving.โ โค๏ธ
On 15th August 2026, โThe Samaritans from Jyotirmoyโ was organised with a heartfelt aim to nurture empathy, compassion and social responsibility among our students.
As part of this meaningful initiative, students of Classes VIโIX visited Old Age Homes โ EKANTE, SECOND INNINGS, MUKTO-BIHONGO, KALIKAPUR NURSING HOME โ and the orphanage PARASH PADMA, where they donated apples as a token of love and gratitude. ๐โค๏ธ
At the old age homes, our students were welcomed with affectionate smiles. Through conversations and shared stories, they discovered the joy that a little companionship can bring to those who often spend their days in solitude. The wisdom and life experiences shared by the elderly left a deep impression on the young minds, creating a beautiful bond of love, respect and understanding.
The visit to PARASH PADMA was equally touching. The children welcomed our students with innocence and excitement. Laughter, conversations, shared snacks and moments of play soon turned strangers into friends. Our students experienced first-hand that true happiness lies not in possessions, but in togetherness, kindness and care. ๐ฑ
More than a visit, it was a lesson in humanity โ reminding our young Jyotirmoyians that even a few hours of kindness can brighten someoneโs day and that hearts can connect far beyond the walls of homes and institutions.
They returned with eyes a little more moist, hearts a little more open, and a stronger resolve to spread kindness wherever they go. ๐
Because sometimes, the greatest lessons are not taught in classrooms โ they are felt in the heart.
