On the occasion of World Environment Day 2026, RK University has organised 'EcoNova Challenge – From Ideas to Sustainable Solutions' to encourage innovative, practical and implementable ideas focused on sustainability and environmental responsibility. The challenge invites participants to contribute solutions for reducing plastic waste, promoting cleaner campus practices and enhancing energy conservation through practical innovations aimed at minimizing electricity usage and optimizing resources on the RKU campus. Selected ideas will receive funding support of up to ₹2.5 lakhs for implementation at RK University.

Adding to this proud moment, Senior Under Officer (SUO) Faiyaz Khokhar of RK University has been honoured with the title of CWS Best Cadet among the Rajkot Group, excelling across all rounds including Practical (Drill & Firing), Written, and Interview, conducted by Para Commando Officer Col. Training & Placement Cell, RK University has organised 'Placement Upskilling Week for Career Acceleration' from April 27 to May 2, 2026, at RK University Main Campus, to bridge the gap between campus learning and industry expectations. This one-week intensive programme for pre-final year B.Tech. and MCA students includes mock HR and technical interviews, aptitude and technical assessments, group discussions, and real-time placement simulation, offering a comprehensive platform to enhance employability skills. The initiative is guided by HR and technical experts from 15+ companies across Gujarat, providing valuable industry exposure and hands-on experience to prepare students for successful career opportunities.

At RK University, students are empowered to transform ideas into impactful, real-world solutions through experiential learning. Supported by the Gujarat Government’s Student Startup and Innovation Policy (SSIP 2.0) and funded by the University, these initiatives reflect the creativity and determination of our student innovators.
