In collaboration with Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), RK University has organised a workshop on application of Standards in Engineering on February 9 & 10, 2024. We feel proud to congratulate our students Prerna Khambhayata, Manisha Pargadu, Gopal Ghosh and Himanshu Patodiya from School of Engineering, RK University on receiving a consolation prize of 2.5 Lakh in Grand Finale of Robofest 3.0 - India's biggest robotics competition, sponsored by Gujcost and DST. Our students won this prize in the Underwater and Submarine category under the guidance of Dr. Chetankumar Patel.

School of Engineering and School of Diploma Studies, RK University organised the annual national-level technical event 'Technoplanet 2023' based on the incredible 'Chandrayaan-3 Mission' theme. With over 1200 participants from diverse engineering disciplines, the event became a hub of innovation where attendees gained valuable insights, fostering creativity and enthusiasm for technology.

RK University City Campus organized Orientation Program 2023 to welcome students of BBA, BBA (AM), BCA and MBA on beginning their wonderful journey at RKU. The main objective of the program was to make them familiar with our campus, teaching and learning methods. Our new students also got an opportunity to interact with the Management of University, eminent personalities from Industry and alumni of RK University. Event started with a very inspiring keynote welcome address by our honourable Executive Vice President Mr. Denish Patel and Provost Dr. Amit Lathigara Sir. The event was then followed by talks from prominent industry stalwarts such as Mr. Pranav Patel (Director of Shilpan Steelcast Pvt. Ltd.), Mr. Shivraj Patel (Director of PBW Bearings Pvt. Ltd.), Mr. Sanjay Gondaliya (CEO of Quantum Bot), Mr. Hitendrabhai Patel (Founder and business head of Global CNC Automation), Mr. Shaileshbhai Davara (Cofounder of Improvised Technologies Pvt Ltd.). Along with these industry experts, our alumni Mr. Yuvrajsinh Jadeja )Sr. Manager at Kotak Mahindra Prime), Ms. Jalpa Radadiya (Senior Executive Hr, Rajoo Engineers Ltd), Mr. Vishal Vaghasiya (Import Export executive at Nebula Surgical Pvt. Ltd) also shared their RKU memories and their journey with our students.

We feel proud to share that 7 teams from School of Engineering, RK University have been selected in one of India’s biggest Robotics Competitions 'ROBOFEST-GUJARAT 3.0' organized by GUJCOST, DST, Government of Gujarat and received 3.50 Lakhs Prize Money for creating Robots under various categories like Two Wheel Self-balancing Robot, Underwater Submarine Robot, Maze Solving Robot, etc.
