An industrial visit to Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company Ltd. (SPARC), Vadodara was organized by the School of Pharmacy, RK University. SPARC, a leading pharmaceutical research and innovation organization, provided an excellent learning platform that enabled students to bridge academic knowledge with real-world research practices.

Students explored key R&D departments and interacted with executive technical experts, gaining valuable insights into advanced laboratory facilities and innovative research activities. The visit was followed by a recreational trip to Orsang Camp.

The School of Pharmacy, RK University organized an insightful session on “Essential Elements of Ward Round Participation” on 11 December 2025, delivered by Dr. Mustakim Mansuri, Associate Professor, Department of Pharmacology, L. M. College of Pharmacy.

The lecture highlighted the significance of ward rounds as a structured, collaborative, and patient-focused practice, enhancing students’ understanding of professionalism, communication, preparation, and teamwork. The interactive nature of the session encouraged active student participation and clarified practical aspects of effective ward round involvement.

World Diabetes Day was celebrated at Kasturbadham, Tramba, in association with Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Kendra Tramba, HCG Hospital, Pragatya Yuva Foundation, and Pharma Health Club, School of Pharmacy, RK University. The event was held near Chabutaro, Tramba Gam, where more than 65 people from the community benefited from the Free Health Check-up Camp organized to promote diabetes awareness and early detection. The camp offered various health services including Random Blood Sugar (RBS) measurement, Blood Pressure check, Eye check-up, and BMI measurement. The program was effectively coordinated by Pratik Vediya, Tejas Ganatra, Udit Trivedi, and Ish*ta Zalavadiya, under the guidance of Dr. Pravin Tirgar, Director, School of Pharmacy, RK University.
