Education Tours are very important for the overall development of a student.
It gives them an opportunity to learn from their own experiences and from the experience of others.
When a student visits a historic place and learns about the history of that place, it feels as if he is seeing the historic events from his own eyes.
We also learn from the mistakes that were done by historic characters.

1. Creativity. This may seem like a no-brainer, but the arts allow kids to express themselves better than math or science.
2. Improved Academic Performance. The arts don’t just develop a child’s creativity—the skills they learn because of them spill over into academic achievement.
3. Motor Skills. This applies mostly to younger kids who do art or play an instrument. Simple things like holding a paintbrush and scribbling with a crayon are an important element to developing a child’s fine motor skills.
4. Confidence. While mastering a subject certainly builds a student’s confidence, there is something special about participating in the arts.
5. Decision Making. The arts strengthen problem solving and critical thinking skills.

The festival of Diwali is not only significant to Hindus, but, has importance in Jainism, Buddhism, and Sikhism.
For Hindus, it is associated with the return of Lord Rama to Ayodhya, after his 14 years of exile and victory over the demon Ravana.
On that day, he was welcomed to the kingdom of Ayodhya with rows of Deep, lightened throughout the kingdom.
Thus, there is a tradition of lighting oil lamps that symbolize the victory of good over evil and freedom from spiritual darkness.
Hindus, also make preparations to welcome goddess Lakshmi by drawing Rangoli, and Paduka (footsteps) on the entrance that would allure goddess Laxmi to visit one’s home and bring prosperity along with her.

Rangoli is derived from the Sanskrit word ‘rangavalli. Rangoli is an art which precedes sculpture and painting.
It is both an auspicious and a preliminary necessity in any religious ritual. It is a custom to draw rangoli at the site of any auspicious religious ritual such as a holy festival, a religious festival, an auspicious function like wedding, ritualistic worship, a vowed religious observance, etc.
The two aims of drawing rangoli are revelation of beauty and the acquisition of auspiciousness. The forms drawn in the rangoli are symbolic. A curved line produces a better effect of beauty than a straight one.
Usually it is women who draw rangoli. They do not require any devices such as a ruler, a thread, a brush, etc. to draw them. They freely move their fingers to create various shapes with ease.

The term itself means ‘nine nights’ and during these nine days and nights ‘nine forms’ of Goddess Shakti are worshipped.
Navratri symbolises victory over evil.
The best part about this festival is the traditional dance form of Dandiya and Garba Raas.
If we brush up on our mythology, it says that Lord Shiva granted permission to Goddess Durga for seeing her mother for just nine days. During those nine days, Goddess Durga demolished demon Mahishasura after a ruthless battle.
Hence Goddess Durga is represented as shakti – the ultimate power. It is also said that Mother Durga is a divine power and eternal – which can never be created nor be devastated.

Health has become one of the highly prioritized matters that people are concerned and cared about.
This can be further explained by the rise in the popularity of gymnasium, yoga classes, organic food and regular organized health campaigns, programs and projects organized by the government, private sectors as well as the NGO's.
Health awareness is the need of the hour with the increasingly complex challenges towards the health of populations in the 21st century.
Nowadays, medical facilities for many diseases are widely available and easily accessible especially where in some places, government subsidized medical centers can avail treatment against diseases at minimal cost or sometimes, free of cost.
However, people often tend to forget the old saying which goes that “Prevention is better than cure”. This old saying is very much valid even now. Taking necessary precaution and awareness are always better before the disaster strikes.

Teachers do a lot of hard work to mold students to become important people in society. Without a teacher, no one would become a accountant, a doctor, a pilot, scientist, an engineer, a meteorologist among other professions.
Teacher’s Day is important because it helps students and parents realize the crucial role of teachers in the society. Through this understanding, respect is cultivated, and thus effective learning achieved.
The day is also a time to remind people of the importance of education. It celebrates great scholars such as Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan who have contributed immensely to that field.
It creates awareness about the significance of the teachers and the fact that they are an effective tool of social transformation. For example, teachers give counseling and advice on various issues such as career path, peer pressure and depression.
