We are currently exploring opportunities to source Friction Reducers (FRs) used in the Oil & Gas industry directly from India, and we would like to connect with reputable suppliers or manufacturers who specialize in these products. Given the Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce’s strong network and expertise in facilitating bilateral business connections, I wanted to inquire if you could assist us in identifying potential Indian suppliers or provide introductions to relevant contacts in this sector.
FRs are chemical additives used primarily in the oil and gas industry—especially in hydraulic fracturing (fracking) and pipeline transportation—to reduce frictional pressure losses in fluid flow through pipes or wellbores. There are few types FRs and are as following.
Anionic polyacrylamide (PAM) – Most common in water-based fracturing fluids
Cationic or nonionic polymers – Used for specific water chemistries
Emulsion-based FRs – Polymers dispersed in hydrocarbon carriers
Dry or powder FRs – Easier to transport and store, activated upon mixing with water

Traders / Suppliers for various Chemicals may share their contact details (email & WhatsApp) with a Business Card if possible for an overseas demand. Quick responses would help a favourable deal.
