LAN GAME : NFS SEMI FINAL

WEB DESIGNING
RULES:
⦁ Task will be given at fixed venue (place) at time of competition and should be completed within given span of time.
⦁ Only single person has to complete his or her task.
⦁ Competitors cannot use internet at the time of competition.
⦁ Competitor is not allowed to take any help from any other person or participant.
⦁ The required software and required resources for performing a task will be provided by the organization.
⦁ USB drives or any other storage media are not allowed while performing the given task.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
RULES:
⦁ EACH GROUP CAN HAVE MAXIMUM TWO PARTICIPANTS.
⦁ THE GROUP HAS TO PASS OBJECTIVE TEST OF 20 QUESTIONS RELATED TO ELECTRONIC CIRCUITS FIRST BEFORE TROUBLESHOOTING STARTS.
⦁ TIME FOR OBJECTIVE TEST WILL BE FOR 10 MINUTES.
⦁ MINIMUM 10 ANSWERS MUST BE CORRECT IN OBJECTIVE TEST ELSE THE GROUP WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO TROUBLESHOOT.
⦁ EACH GROUP /PARTICIPANT WILL HAVE TO DETERMINE FAULT IN THE ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT HANDED TO THEM.
⦁ TOTAL TIME GIVEN FOR TROUBLE SHOOTING WILL BE 10 MINUTES.
⦁ EVERY PARTICIPANT WHO HAS REGISTERED HIS/HER NAME WILL GET PARTICIPATION CERTIFICATE.
⦁ 1ST, 2ND AND 3RD RANK HOLDERS IN FINAL COMPETITION WILL GET CERTIFICATE OF WINNING.
ROBO RACE
IDEA:
⦁ Racing with boosters and highly powered engines is a simple task for the Racers.
⦁ "ROBO-HUSTLE" to you all. Racing through the Zigzag roads, Mud Pits Slopes and avoiding many more obstacles and still finishing within the minimum time, it’s not a matter of Roadside racer.
⦁ So those who think they can do it, grip up your tyres, power up your motors, gain control over your car and hustle your bots to the finish line.
RULES:
⦁ Maximum 4 members are allowed in one team.
⦁ All the participants are requested to bring our college identity card at the time of the competition.
ARENA SPECIFICATIONS:
⦁ Track width will be 45 cm.
MACHINE SPECIFICATIONS:
⦁ The robot should satisfy the dimensions 25 cm * 25 cm * 25 cm (L*B*H) at any point of time in the match.
⦁ The max weight of the robot can be 5 kg.
⦁ Robot can be wired or wireless. Dual frequency is recommended.
⦁ IC engine and explosives are not allowed.
⦁ The robot can be powered only by battery power maximum 24V.(-/+5% tolerance)
⦁ Any form of heat energy should not be used in any way.
⦁ Machine can be powered electrically.
⦁ If the machine is wired then the wire should remain under all circumstances during the competition.
ROUND:
⦁ Elimination Round
⦁ Semi-Final and Final Round
⦁ The participant has to complete the whole track if he is qualified for final round.
⦁ The difficult y level of obstacles will be increased as the level changes.
⦁ The winner will be one who completes the whole track with best time i.e. minimum possible time.
GENERAL RULES & REGULATIONS:
⦁ Five hand touches are allowed between any of the two checkpoints.
⦁ The robot will be placed to the previous checkpoint attained, in case of hand touch.
⦁ Damage to the arena or the track will result in immediate disqualification of the participant (s).
⦁ The decision(s) of the organizers/judges will be final and binding.
⦁ Organizers' reserve rights to disqualify any team for their misbehavior.
⦁ The organizing committee reserves rights to change the rules at any time and changes will be notified to the participants at that time.
ROBO WAR
IDEA:
⦁ Battle Rage is t he Clash between the robots in the Arena full of Flames.
⦁ In this Combat, each Combatant will seek to defeat the opposition.
⦁ Using different Strategies and Deadly Weapons pull down your Enemies and raise yourself as a WINNER of the battle.
⦁ So Raise your HAMMERS, Sharpen your CUTTERS, Gear Up your HYDRAULICS and Smash Down your ENEMIES in the Dust
RULES:
⦁ Maximum 4 members are allowed in one team.
⦁ Members can be from different educational institute.
⦁ All the participants are requested to bring their college identity card at the time of the competition.

⦁ Arena will be square in shape of dimensions 5m *5m.
⦁ There will be a pit anywhere inside the arena sized 50cm*50 cm.

⦁ The robot should satisfy the dimensions 50 cm* 50 cm* 50 cm (L*B*H) at any point of time in the match.
⦁ The max weight of the robot can be 20 kg.
⦁ Robot can be wired or wireless. Dual frequency is recommended.
⦁ IC engine and explosives are not allowed.
⦁ The robot can be powered only by battery power maximum 24V.(-/+5% tolerance)
⦁ Any form of heat energy should not be used in any way.
⦁ Machine can be powered electrically.

⦁ Restricted: Inflammable chemicals.

⦁ Elimination Round

⦁ During the fight if the robot is observed immobile for more than 20sec due to any technical, mechanical or battery problem then that robot will be disqualified and opponent will be declared as a winner.
NO EXTRA TIME WILL BE PROVIDED.
QUIZ
RULES:
1st round:
⦁ Written test for each team, 25 objective questions, 2 mark each - Total time is 30 minutes. (No negative marking).
⦁ Eight teams will be selected from this round.
2nd round:

⦁ 3 questions based on analytical skills, general knowledge and technical ability – Total time is 30 seconds per question - (Each question carries 10 marks)
⦁ No negative marking.
⦁ Passing of question to the next one team is allowed. In this case, five marks will be given to that team if the answer is correct.
(2)
⦁ Two technical questions will be asked from a structural subject.
⦁ Negative marking will be there and the question will not be passed.
⦁ Each right answer will be given 10 marks and if wrong answer will be given, then 5 marks will be deducted.
⦁ Time: 1 min per question will be allowed.
⦁ Four teams will be selected from this round.
3rd round:
Level 1: Multimedia & Technical Knowledge
⦁ Time: 30 seconds per question will be allowed – (Each question carries 10 marks).
⦁ No negative marking.
Level 2: Rapid Fire
⦁ 1 minute for each team to answer maximum number of questions.
⦁ Each question carries 10 marks.
⦁ 5 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Level 3: Subjective skills
⦁ Teams have to select the subject given by the organizers.
⦁ Total time will be given is 30 seconds per question
⦁ Each question carries 10 marks.
⦁ 5 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
