🌱 World Environment Day Celebration at IIARH Rajkot 🌱

On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Indian Institute of Ayurved Research and Hospital (IIARH), Rajkot organized a Tree Plantation Drive on the campus with the active support of the NSS Unit and the Department of Dravyaguna.

Students and staff members enthusiastically participated in the plantation activity, demonstrating their commitment towards environmental conservation and sustainable living. The initiative aimed to promote awareness about the importance of trees and encourage collective responsibility for a greener and healthier future.

🌿 Poshan Pakhwada 2026 Celebration at IIARH 🌿

With the blessings of Dhanvantari, the Indian Institute of Ayurved Research and Hospital (IIARH) marked the 8th Poshan Pakhwada (9th–23rd April 2026) through impactful community outreach initiatives, organized by the NSS Department of IIARH.

📍 20th April – Dr. Seema Gokani from the Kaumarbhritya Department conducted an awareness session at Haripar Primary School on “Importance of Diet and Exercise during Vacation,” guiding children towards healthy habits and active lifestyles.

💚 Inspiring young minds to choose health, wellness, and balanced living through Ayurveda.

🌿 Poshan Pakhwada 2026 Celebration at IIARH 🌿

With the blessings of Dhanvantari, the Indian Institute of Ayurved Research and Hospital (IIARH) proudly celebrated the 8th Poshan Pakhwada (9th–23rd April 2026) through meaningful community outreach initiatives.

📍 22nd April – Dr. Yagnik Solanki and Dr. Khushbu Gohil conducted a medical camp at Balambhadi village, where women and children were educated about the importance of proper nutrition and healthy living.

💚 Spreading awareness, nurturing health, and building a stronger future through Ayurveda.

📍 Field Visit to District TB Centre, Rajkot

As a part of the NLH activity, students of Kayachikitsa from IIARH participated in an insightful field visit to the District TB Centre, Rajkot on 16-04-2026.

Final year batches 2021–22 and 2022–23 actively took part in this educational experience. The technical sessions were expertly conducted by Dr. Mahesh Raj, who provided valuable knowledge on the early detection, treatment and prevention of Tuberculosis (TB).

The visit offered students real-world exposure to public health practices and strengthened their understanding of TB management at the community level.

Final-year students of IIARH had an insightful visit to Aaruni Oncology Hospital, Rajkot on 11th April 2026 where they gained in-depth knowledge about radiation instruments and their therapeutic applications in cancer care.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity to bridge theoretical learning with real-world clinical exposure. Students witnessed firsthand the precision, care, and dedication involved in oncology treatment, deepening their understanding of patient-centered healthcare.

It was truly a day filled with learning, compassion, and inspiration—going beyond textbooks to experience the realities of modern medicine. 💙🏥

🌿✨ World Health Day Celebration at IIARH ✨🌿

On the occasion of World Health Day (7th April), the Indian Institute of Ayurved Research and Hospital organized a Poster Making Competition based on the theme:
“Next Generation Health Care: Ayurveda Roots & Digital Wings”

🎨 The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from creative students, who beautifully conveyed messages of health and Ayurveda through their innovative posters.

🏆 Winners:
Radhika Makadiya and Vishwa Adroja secured the 1st position with their outstanding performance.

🎯 The main objective of the event was to nurture creativity among students and to spread awareness about the integration of Ayurveda with modern technology.
