π± World Environment Day Celebration at IIARH Rajkot π±
On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Indian Institute of Ayurved Research and Hospital (IIARH), Rajkot organized a Tree Plantation Drive on the campus with the active support of the NSS Unit and the Department of Dravyaguna.
Students and staff members enthusiastically participated in the plantation activity, demonstrating their commitment towards environmental conservation and sustainable living. With the blessings of Dhanvantari, the Indian Institute of Ayurved Research and Hospital (IIARH) proudly celebrated the 8th Poshan Pakhwada (9thβ23rd April 2026) through meaningful community outreach initiatives.
π 22nd April β Dr. Yagnik Solanki and Dr. Khushbu Gohil conducted a medical camp at Balambhadi village, where women and children were educated about the importance of proper nutrition and healthy living.

π Field Visit to District TB Centre, Rajkot
As a part of the NLH activity, students of Kayachikitsa from IIARH participated in an insightful field visit to the District TB Centre, Rajkot on 16-04-2026.
Final year batches 2021β22 and 2022β23 actively took part in this educational experience. The technical sessions were expertly conducted by Dr. Mahesh Raj, who provided valuable knowledge on the early detection, treatment and prevention of Tuberculosis (TB).
The visit offered students real-world exposure to public health practices and strengthened their understanding of TB management at the community level.

Final-year students of IIARH had an insightful visit to Aaruni Oncology Hospital, Rajkot on 11th April 2026 where they gained in-depth knowledge about radiation instruments and their therapeutic applications in cancer care.
The visit provided a valuable opportunity to bridge theoretical learning with real-world clinical exposure. Students witnessed firsthand the precision, care, and dedication involved in oncology treatment, deepening their understanding of patient-centered healthcare.

On the occasion of World Health Day (7th April), the Indian Institute of Ayurved Research and Hospital organized a Poster Making Competition based on the theme:

π¨ The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from creative students, who beautifully conveyed messages of health and Ayurveda through their innovative posters.
