✍️ The Art of Penmanship: Celebrating World Handwriting Day!
The art of handwriting is alive and well in Rajkot! On January 24th, ELTAI RCC celebrated World Handwriting Day with a spectacular Copywriting Event at the Regional Science Centre. Under the visionary guidance of our President, Mr. Minu Jasdanwala, we witnessed the incredible talent of the next generation.
🌟 Event Highlights:
* Participants: Over 101 enthusiastic students from prestigious institutions including Arya School, Rosary School, SGIS, Patel Classes, Kafka Classes, and more.
* The Challenge: Students had 20 minutes to pour their hearts onto an A4 sheet, writing on the theme "My Country India."
* Judging Excellence: We were honored to have Dr. Iros Vaja (HoD English, MVM Arts College) and the renowned artist Shri Sajjad Kapasi as our expert judges. They looked for perfect alignment, neatness, and artistic use of space.
🏆 Celebrating Success:
Every participant walked away with a Certificate and a Diary, and our top performers were awarded premium Pen Sets to keep their writing journey going!

On 28 December, 2025 ELTAI Rajkot team attended the Rising Rajkot exhibition at the Race Course Art Gallery on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. onwards. The exhibition — inaugurated earlier this month — highlights Rajkot’s evolution over four centuries and has quickly become a focal point of cultural and urban interest.
The team received a personal guided tour from Shri Chetan Nandani, Deputy Municipal Commissioner of the Rajkot Municipal Corporation, who explained the narrative and significance of each gallery with precision and enthusiasm. Shri Nandani’s expert commentary helped us better understand Rajkot’s historical roots, industrial achievements, civic development, and future-focused smart city initiatives.
The Rising Rajkot exhibition is structured into multiple thematic galleries. The first gallery offers a rare glimpse into Rajkot before India’s independence through historic photographs, 3D models, and archival maps. Subsequent galleries chronicle the city’s industrial progress, cultural identity, and rapid urban transformation.
Interactive sections featuring advanced digital technologies, VR tours of upcoming projects like the Working Women’s Hostel, and AI experiences further enhanced the team’s engagement. Shri Nandani also outlined key infrastructural milestones, including innovations in water management and upcoming projects such as the Ring Road-2.
Speaking on the visit, members of the ELTAI Rajkot team expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to explore Rajkot’s heritage and future vision in depth. They commended the Rajkot Municipal Corporation for curating an enriching exhibition that resonates with both residents and students of urban development.
The team extended heartfelt thanks to Shri Chetan Nandani Sir for his time and detailed explanations, which made the visit both informative and memorable.

# # A Tapestry of Words: ELTAI RCC's Women's Day Celebration at Elegant Academy
The air at Elegant Academy buzzed with intellectual fervor and heartfelt camaraderie as ELTAI RCC commemorated International Women's Day with an event that transcended mere celebration, delving into the profound intersection of literature and women's empowerment. The event, meticulously organized and executed, served as a testament to the enduring power of words to shape perspectives and ignite change.
The program commenced with Tisha Mam's insightful exposition on the three layers of women's empowerment, laying a robust foundation for the discussions that followed. Dhairyavi Mam further enriched the discourse by highlighting the invaluable contributions of Indian authors in championing women's rights and amplifying their voices. The event's strength lay in its ability to blend academic rigor with personal narratives, as evidenced by Dr. Vaishali Parsania and Rita Chauhan's poignant sharing of their own journeys, demonstrating how literature served as a beacon of strength during their struggles.
Dr. Charuta's exploration of ancient texts, including the Vedas, offered a fascinating glimpse into the historical context of women's roles and the enduring relevance of traditional values. Her presentation illuminated the evolution of societal norms and the persistent need for progressive change. Prof. Rachita Mehta's dynamic presentation, infused with personal anecdotes, resonated deeply with the audience, showcasing how her own engagement with literature fueled her journey of empowerment.
The event also provided a platform for diverse perspectives, with Mr. Minu Jasdanwala offering a global perspective on the plight of women, drawing comparisons between the West, the Middle East, and India. His original poem, a heartfelt tribute to women's resilience, added a touch of artistic brilliance to the proceedings. Mr. Hardik Majithia's contribution, focusing on the historical status of women in ancient India, further enriched the tapestry of viewpoints.
Anita Mam's exceptional coordination and hosting ensured the smooth flow of the event, creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere. Her dedication, coupled with the support of Mr. Margesh and the organizing team, contributed significantly to the event's success. The provision of high tea fostered a sense of community and facilitated informal interactions among participants.
Dr. Vishal Varia, the convenor of the ELTAI RCC chapter, concluded the event with a heartfelt vote of thanks and a felicitation ceremony for the newly appointed and continuing executive members. This gesture underscored the chapter's commitment to fostering leadership and collaboration. The event's success was a testament to the collective effort of the ELTAI RCC team and the enthusiastic participation of the audience.
In essence, the Women's Day celebration at Elegant Academy was more than just an event; it was a powerful dialogue, a celebration of resilience, and a reaffirmation of the transformative power of literature in shaping a more equitable and empowered future for women. The event left a lasting impression, prompting reflection and inspiring action, making it a truly memorable celebration of the spirit of womanhood.
