Stop apologizing to your kids every time you lose your temper. 🛑👇
Child psychology research proves that children don't need a parent who never gets angry; they need a parent who teaches them how to repair mistakes. When you focus on repair rather than perfection, you build true emotional resilience and recovery in your child. 🧠💛

Myth: A baby walker helps babies learn to walk faster.

Fact: Canada banned the sale, manufacture, and import of baby walkers entirely — back in 2004. The American Academy of Pediatrics has pushed for the same ban in the U.S. since 2018.

Here's why:
🏥 Thousands of ER visits every year are linked to walker injuries — falls, stairs, burns
⚠️ Zero proven developmental benefit has been found in studies
🚶 A baby in a walker can move several feet per second — faster than an adult can react

What actually helps instead: floor time, push-toys, and stationary activity centers — safer, and just as good for development.

Myth: Never wake a sleeping baby, no matter what.

Fact: The American Academy of Pediatrics and Mayo Clinic say newborns sometimes need to be gently woken — especially in the first 2 weeks.

Here's what the guidelines actually recommend:
🍼 8-12 feeds per day
⏰ Every 2-3 hours
⚠️ Never let a newborn sleep past 4 hours without feeding (first 2 weeks)

Why it matters: frequent feeding supports healthy weight regain, lowers jaundice risk, and keeps blood sugar stable in those early weeks.

⚠️ Premature, jaundiced, or underweight baby? Always follow your pediatrician's specific plan instead.
