The show, before it was streamed on Netflix, was released in Spain on Antena 3 in May 2017. The first episode was a hit with 4.5 million views. Gradually, the viewership dropped. So much so, that it had to be cancelled. The cast and crew accepted that it was a flop until Netlix acquired its rights. After Netflix, picked the show, it became a rage worldwide. The 15-episode show was cut into shorter 22 episodes for Netflix. Such was the frenzy of the show that the makers had to take the story forward and create more seasons.
